At the center of the stage, and the center of the debate's hottest exchanges, was a 38-year-old man who no one expected to be there even a few months ago – a novice candidate and technology entrepreneur named Vivek Ramaswamy.
Though he’s well behind Trump, Ramaswamy has crept up in recent polls, leading to his position next to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis at center stage. And he quickly showed why when he showcased his ready-for-video, on-message approach, talking about how his poor parents moved to the U.S. and he had the ability to found billion-dollar companies. Mp> Then Ramaswamy tried to show he wasn’t a regular politician and started to throw elbows. At one point he declared “I’m the only person on the stage who isn’t bought and paid for.” He slammed his rivals as “super PAC puppets” who were using “readymade, pre-prepared slogans” to attack him.
He seemed to be betting that primary voters preferred something memorable said to something done. His rivals were having none of it.

Without the federal emergency declarations and money to the states, the states would not have been able to shutdown. Trump definitely was the impetus for most shutdowns. I think he really regrets it.

He is someone that wants the most powerful position in the world. He is NOT a Christian. So he would fit right in with these “end times” we’re facing.
The evil gripping planet earth would “fundamentally transform” the entire planet into a Maui-like Hellscape if they could. So sure.... elect people like Vivek to that level of power. What could go wrong?

The guy is a DeSantis pusher. Trump (and now Vivek) are Ron’s biggest competition. That should explain the absurd ranking. It’s amazing how few people can support a candidate, but still try to remain objective. Reno isn’t even trying.
I think VP is what I think VS is probably angling for. No attacks on Trump, instead some very good defenses. He needs some more time in the public eye to prove himself out, but he looks really good right now.
As a Christian living in a country built on Western Christian principles, I do wonder how his eastern, polytheistic pagan beliefs will mesh with our national values. He says a lot of the right things, but he is also young, new to the process and most of us never heard of him before a few months ago. He needs a lot of vetting.
Yeah that was so awkward to watch. Honestly it’s not how you’re going to win Gen Z voters either. Gen Z conservatives or at least the ones I talk to are surprisingly more traditional. Andrew Tate is a little “out there” even for me but he resonates with a lot of the younger generation who are fed up with feminism. A lot of younger guys I talk to are tired of the double standards in colleges where women get special career programs and diversity hire consideration. There’s been a big sea change where my generation (millennial) didn’t like feminism but Gen Z conservatives REALLY don’t like feminism since they had to deal with the consequences of the extremes the most
