Robert Kennedy, Jr. announced Friday on Twitter that the Biden Administration has still not provided his campaign with Secret Service protection. Robert says after several requests they have received no response after 88 days!
This is unconscionable.
Robert Kennedy, Jr.: Since the assassination of my father in 1968, candidates for president are provided Secret Service protection. But not me.
Typical turnaround time for pro forma protection requests from presidential candidates is 14-days. After 88-days of no response and after several follow-ups by our campaign, the Biden Administration just denied our request. Secretary Mayorkas: “I have determined that Secret Service protection for Robert F Kennedy Jr is not warranted at this time.”
Our campaign’s request included a 67-page report from the world’s leading protection firm, detailing unique and well established security and safety risks aside from commonplace death threats.

This shows that Biden is basically sending him a message telling him to take his chances and that he's on his own.

I’d hire my own body guards. Can’t trust anything that Biden’s administration is doing. Nothing.
Why would he get secret service protection during the early primary season? What’s the precedent?
RFKjr not at risk, he’s just running for president.
Now, if he had a more risky profession, say, Chef, that would be a different story.

Well, yes ... but Hunter is tangled up with drug dealers, hookers, illegal gun dealers, money laundering “art collectors,” Ukrainian influence peddlers, etc. Plus he’s the object of mockery on conservative, presumptively MAGA and insurrectionist websites. Gotta take those threats seriously.
All a Secret Service detail would need to do is keep the Bidenskyyyy mob away from Kennedy.

Yeah, both John and Robert Kennedy had Secret Service protection and look where that got them.
Meanwhile, SS protection for presidential candidates was initiated in response to RFKJ’s father’s assassination.
