Vivek Ramaswamy is not legally eligible to be President. The natural born citizen clause predates the Fourteenth Amendment by several decades. He is a Fourteenth Amendment/Wong Kim Ark citizen, not a natural-born citizen. His campaign for the Presidency is illegitimate.

No, that’s not true. just because Obama was snuck in by Pelosi subverting Article 2 Section 1 does not make it legit.
The ineligibility argument of Vivek Ramaswamy is based on the status of his parents at the time he was born. However, Clause 5 makes no mention of anyone’s parents. The word isn’t even there.
Therefore, I find the argument unconvincing.
Side note: I wish the word was there. Having parents (or a parent) with a possible allegiance to another country is not a good thing. But the word isn’t there. It just isn’t.
As soon as the words “natural born citizen” appear you know are dealing with a room temperature IQ swimming in a sea of wilful ignorance.

Yes, Obama was born in Hawaii and was born a citizen. His mother was a citizen so he was. And there is no evidence that his mother left Hawaii when she was pregnant. There is lots of evidence that she was there in school the whole year.
With Dems ALL amendments are ignored.
Stop messing with Trumps best VP choice.
No! He would not.
But why did this person not also state that Nikki Haley is also not a NBC, and thus us also in eligible to hold the office of President or Vice President? She was born before her parents had been naturalized.
But I want to see when Vivek was born and what the status of his parents were at the time of his birth. Because that is what counts, not the 14th amendment. But I assume it means he has the same issue as Nikki Haley, but he didn't state it completely.
He must be eating into the Trump support for his supporters to trot out this ridiculous allegation. If you are born in this country despite where your family came from you are eligible to be POTUS
Barack Obama proved that
Obama was born in Vancouver Canada. He was not a US Citizen by birth. That is the dirty secret they covered up about him.
The Supreme Court has held that an individual born in the United States is a "natural born citizen" regardless of the citizenship of his parents.
There are reams of laws and court cases supporting this. Please stop spouting this nonsense.
His father was a British subject. Therefore Obama was also a British subject making him a dual citizen. A dual citizen owing allegiances to two governments is not a natural born Citizen. Ramaswampy is in the same category. His parents weren’t naturalized Citizens.
Wrong. There are only three kinds of citizen status in the constitution. Naturalized, Natural Born, and Aliens.
If you gain citizenship by birth, you are Natural Born. It is not some parlor game of pre-colonial British common law.
You may not like it but it’s a fact.
Borrowed from Desert Rhino post above.
(The Supreme Court has held that an individual born in the United States is a “natural born citizen” regardless of the citizenship of his parents.)
Cute the Supreme Court case.

With one difference you failed to mention.
Obama’s father never became US citizen.
Vivek’s parents are both naturalized citizens.
Another difference is Vivek is 150 times more intelligent than Obama.
Barack Obama was a dual citizen at birth.
“With Dems ALL amendments are ignored.”
Not only Dems. The Republican in the House and Senate said nothing about Obama’s eligibility. The Speaker of the House certifies the qualifications of candidates. Republican John Boehner certified Obama.
In addition there have been few Republican Congressmen and almost no Republican Senators objecting to the denial of due process rights to the January 6 defendants. I hear very few Republican Senators objecting to the FBI and intelligence agencies spying on US citizens. Was there any outrage from Republicans when the Supreme Court handed down the Kelo decision giving government the power to take private property for private uses.
