At this point, the LAAP-dog media's job is to manipulate the GOP field going into the debates by influencing the voters' opinions of their candidates. It's true that the candidates make mistakes, especially spending mistakes, but I'm suggesting that the candidates tend to have a knee-jerk focus of their spending on the squirrels that the LAAP-dog media puts in front of them. That has to stop.
The GOP candidates, the voters, and the Big Donors need to "bet the spread" prior to the debates, and then make the high-stakes bets after the debates are underway. Don't let the LAAP-dog media psychologically manipulate our side from the start.

Yes, Trump has some pretty serious hurdles to clear. That said, the Democrats are in a much worse position. Biden is failing and they have a really shallow bench to pull from.
The last time Trump won anything, barely beating the most corrupt and unlikable candidate any party has ever ran for office.
He's been on an unbroken losing streak ever since.
But 2024 will be different, right?
DeSantis has more than enough money to make it through Iowa.
Trump has tons of money as well, but he's spending it on his lawyers.
He MIGHT be running against an almost brain dead Biden.
He has enough money, but not votes.
So what's his plan for beating him this time? Other than denying he lost at all in 2020 which isn't in itself going to get him to 270.

Yeah, this far out many things can happen in the ebb & flow of a political campaign. At least that’s the theory for Republicans that don’t want Trump as the nominee.
Where the comparison fails in regards to the 2016 & 2024 Republican Primaries, is Bush, Walker, Rubio, and Trump had never been POTUS going into that race.
IMO that gives the 45th President a huge advantage over the lesser known candidates.

I might take to you up on that bet you were offering the other night once we get into 2024. Just throw a number out there for consideration once we get into the New Year.
A big part of that, I think, is that he had been hyped so much, over the last two years. His PR machine was very aggressive and effective, and he sort of existed in a protected environment, having some early well publicized successes as governor with little opposition.
I can’t prove it, but I really get the sense that the left recognized that he was being groomed to take out Trump and went easy on him. At any rate, after being treated with kid gloves for the past two years, it was a real eye for many voters to see him in an environment where he wasn’t in total control.

Is there any confidence that Trump’s lawyers will squash those indictments like the rats that created them?
It is clear to enough of the population that the inditements are political. No matter how much the media protests at this point we all have been exposed to their bias in a way impossible to ignore. When newsrooms “leaned in” the control of the media cracked, a decade or more latter the foundation of support for the media message is crumbling like a south Florida condo in the salt spray.
