Yeah, this far out many things can happen in the ebb & flow of a political campaign. At least that’s the theory for Republicans that don’t want Trump as the nominee.
Where the comparison fails in regards to the 2016 & 2024 Republican Primaries, is Bush, Walker, Rubio, and Trump had never been POTUS going into that race.
IMO that gives the 45th President a huge advantage over the lesser known candidates.
