GOP presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said on Saturday that he'd consider Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds as a potential running mate if he wins the Republican nomination. She appears to have other plans.
But Reynolds demurred when asked in an interview Monday morning on Fox News if she'd accept the offer.
"I am so focused," she told Fox News' Ainsley Earhardt. "I'm busy working on being the governor of the great state of Iowa."

I am not trying to derail this thread. I noted that DeSantis was not unusual or unique in offering up polite “I’ll consider”. Heck, Trump did this vis-a-vis Scott over the weekend or last week. It is normal. You think this is so wrong or breaking news, so it is fair to simply ask if you will have the same reaction, if you have had, the same reaction to Trump or are you simply so biased against DeSantis that you can see straight.
Way too soon to be considering running mates.
Remember what happened when Cruz picked Carly? His campaign really fell apart after that.
Also, you keep posting negative threads about DeSantis, but not negative about Trump. Fair is fair, while I don’t go out of my way to post negative threads about Trump, should I or others do so? Seriously, you need to give it a break. Maybe post something positive about Trump, maybe something about Biden or Congress. You are a one-trick pony and it is boring and sad.

Trump is up by 40 in most poles. While I don’t think he should announce or choose a VP now it’s slightly different than the guy who is up on Christie by 1% to do it. I’ll say it slowly for those who still don’t get it. Desanctus is not Trump. Sheesh

Problem is that Trump supporters are posting every single criticism thread that they can, then they get all whiny because we then pick up in those threads and say hey, how about we talk about Trump then if you’re so concerned about these issues. So, if you stop posting negative threads about DeSantis, then everything can quiet down, then may be people can focus on Biden.

What is the big deal? Of course there will be discussion of VPs.
Ron should be busy doing what Reynolds is doing. Being Governor.
This is like Ted Cruz picking Carly Fiona to be his running mate. It is completely irrelevant because, like Cruz, DeSantis isn’t going to be the nominee.
