desantis ran his mouth over the weekend promoting Renolds as a potential v.p., to gain supporter among Iowa voters.

Go ahead, Ron. Announce your VP early. It worked well for others.

"I'm busy working on being the governor of the great state of Iowa."Hint to Ron, she's busy being a recently re-elected governor.

I think he said he would consider her, just as he might others. There was nothing more to this. Trump and others do the same thing. Make hay of it if you insist, but it is really silly. If he does something stupid like announce a VP early, like Cruz with Fiorina, then come back and shout that out from the rooftops.
What are you going to do if Trump announces a VP early?

Why do I suspect that the day after the Iowa Caucuses De Santis picks a new running mate, someone from New Hampshire?

Way too soon to be considering running mates.
Remember what happened when Cruz picked Carly? His campaign really fell apart after that.

Ron should be busy doing what Reynolds is doing. Being Governor.

This is like Ted Cruz picking Carly Fiona to be his running mate. It is completely irrelevant because, like Cruz, DeSantis isn’t going to be the nominee.

The only way this applies to DeSantis is if he’s going for a jog.

Kim Reynolds could have had the Senate seat now held by Joni Ernst. Reynolds lobbied for Ernst instead. I certainly don’t believe Reynolds wants to go to DC in any capacity.
Maybe DeSantis knows that?

If Gov. DeSantis is only running for himself, so is Rahmasway, he is regurgitating MAGA talking points just to advance himself. It’s time for BOTH of them to drop out.

I wish Ron DeSantis would concentrate on being Florida’s governor.
To: backpacker_c
maybe Ron should wait to see if he can firmly stay in double digits in state and national polls first?

To: backpacker_c
If you actually read the article, it says that DeSantis answered “Of course,” when asked if Kim Reynolds was in the running to be his VP. That’s it. That’s all he said. Yet Business Insider had to make a whole hit piece out of it. The liberals are afraid of DeSantis.
