Republican 2024 presidential nominee and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is giving out "Jeb Bush vibes" while on the campaign trail, former GOP communications director Tara Setmayer said on Saturday.
"The idea of Ron DeSantis was what attracted people to him until he went on the campaign trail and people realized that he's actually whiny. He got snippy with a high school student for asking him a basic question. He can't answer a question about January 6, [2021], for goodness' sake. So even though he's raised all this money, it's giving me Jeb Bush vibes all over again," Setmayer said to MSNBC host Jonathan Capehart on The Saturday Show.
In May, DeSantis announced his bid to run for president and is among the ever-widening field of candidates running for the Republican Party's 2024 presidential nomination. While former President Donald Trump regularly maintains a commanding lead in the polls, DeSantis has proven to be his most significant opponent, polling behind in second place, still ahead of others in the field like former Vice President Mike Pence and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.

We might as well accept that he was never with us. Someone around him knew enough to grab some low-hanging political fruit as in protecting children, but beyond that what has he shown and what is his base beyond a relatively small number of anti-Trump Republicans?

DeSantis is hoping the Democrats will eliminate Trump from qualifying to run. It’s his only hope. But he has destroyed his brand with MAGA voters.

The problem with Yeb! And DeSntis is they do not come across as authentic
I had high hopes for DeSAntis until he let the Establishment Republican consultants into the tent. They are only interested in two things: making money for themselves and perpetuating the the establishment cabal in Washington DC so their donors get richer.
DeSAntis should have waited, watched and learned and he may have been able to run in 28 with sufficient grassroots support that he did not have to sell himself to the Rove devil for money to run. Now he is dead as a candidate this year and the future.
If the Washington establishment manage to derail Trump and DeSAntis is the nominee there is no way he is elected without the grassroots that will never show up in the numbers needed just like with .Romney. We now know he can not be trusted.

It's a problem for the whole republican party and so they don't have a story like - looks like a peaceful protest turned false flag riot through widespread planting of government agitators.
And that's because THEY think that this is one of things that will take down Trump and his patriotic support. And so the more these weaklings throw up stuff and sling it at Trump the more they show themselves to be despicable self-serving crawling swampcritters.
And so Trump just gets more votes.
People have been calling him DeJeb for a reason.

J6 is a problem for the DC Republicans because they were involved in the planning, execution and coverup of the false flag sedition up to their eyeballs.
It is hard to imagine Jeb! as being a CIA handler because he is so perpetually befuddled and dim.
I don't think Jeb is smart enough to be important to the CIA.
