The decisions by governments around the world to engage in massive spending sprees and money printing during the Chinese coronavirus crisis is the central cause for persistent inflation, a leading central banker has admitted.

The head of the Swiss-based Bank for International Settlements (BIS), Agustin Carstens has acknowledged that governments and central banks throughout the world were to blame for the current economic hardships felt by working and middle-class people through inflationary policies such as governments giving massive handouts to businesses and workers to stay home during the lockdowns and central bankers engaging in quantitative easing schemes to generate more currency.

I remember many family and friends who were so excited about the stimulus checks. Plus at the last job I was at the IT guy did not come back because he wanted to sit on his butt and collect the $1,500 every two weeks unemployment check. IT guy did that for a whole year and then came back to the office in 2021.

It amazes me that liberals are so incredibly thick skulled as to not understand this? It's as bad as liberals who force socialism on us, knowing, historically, socialism is a suicidal economic policy. But in their feeble brains, they think, "Well, we'll be different. We'll be the exception."

It boggles the mind.

knowing, historically, socialism is a suicidal economic policy.

Socialism appeals to those who think they can get something for nothing. Thus, it's always popular, even though it doesn't work.

WE are becoming Germany in the 1920s. They printed so much money it became worthless. The stories of a man with a wheel barrow full of money trying to buy a loaf of bread finds his wheel barrow stolen and the money dumped on the road. Of people papering their walls with worthless money.

So they will ignore paralyzing energy production as a factor. Energy costs affect everything. But the climate fascists will get no blame for the misery they cause

“governments around the world” bears repeating when Biden sycophants point to inflation in other countries (UK 7.1%)
When you rob Peter to pay Paul, you always have the support of Paul. What happens when you Peter out?
I keep thinking .gov is spending over $6T/yr and this is all we have to show for it? Where are the Productivity increases? You know where.

Which, is the point, viz. they know it doesn't work. It's never worked, yet they still push it. They're thick skulled.
