And here I thought the constitution stated plainly state legislatures were in charge of federal election? Wonder if SCOTUS knows that, or needs to hear 10th amendment?

Allegations against Thomas and Alito come out and the ‘conservative majority’ on the court appears to start voting in near lockstep with the liberal minority—what dirt does the democRATs and their operatives in the deep state have on the others?

You are naive. This ruling is caving to the left, virtually negating the effect of Trump selecting justices. These picks were duds.
Hillary Marxists lost the battle, but won the war. These hacks in black have become useless enemies of America.

They already have a problem, now they will be able to create a bigger problem.

Carving out these districts does not magically create more Democrat voters. It just concentrates them more.

That depends on how they carve them up. We have seen majority Republican districts softened up and turned by added solid Democrat residents from adjacent districts which are already confirmed Democrat and can afford to spare a few voters.

The Democrats plan these things in great detail. It's a chess game. The Republicans haven't got a clue. They just do what the Democrat-controlled courts tell them to do. And lose elections.

Then they go out and beg for more campaign contributions to "take back the government". It all goes into the pockets of consultants, vendors, and other grifters. Nothing changes. Nothing is supposed to change.

This is one area that needs a new solution. We need a better way or approach to assigning districts that removes the bias and gerrymandering which satisfies everyone. Yep, and world peace while we are at it.

It’s absolutely simple.

Alabama is currently 6 GOP 1 DEM. The Supremes have ruled to make that 5 GOP 2 DEM.

Louisiana is currently 5 GOP 1 DEM. The Supremes have ruled to make that 4 GOP 2 DEM.

These “minority” districts are ridiculously gerrymandered already. Additional gerrymandering could end up diluting the black majorities enough to make them competitive and even flip to the Republicans because of lower voting rates for black voters.

It will justify the 4AM ballot-dumps in those 2 districts to put the D-party over the top.
Once that over-flowing toilet problem gets fixed...

Enforcement? Merrick Garland.

Constitutional grounds? SCOTUS says it’s constitutional.

We live in a goofy world, but those are the answers to your questions.

It can be done!

No, it can't.

The Democrats always make them a better offer if they are any good at all. Republicans get the Black candidates who were rejected by the Democrat party as too inept or unwilling to follow directions of the Central Committee.

Those candidates do poorly when they are relabeled as Republicans. They don't get effective support from the Republican party either.

Tribal affiliations beat ideology every time. And tribes go for the politicians who pass out the most loot to their members. That always comes at the expense of some other tribes. Practical politics is about convincing each tribe that they are the chosen ones.

“The times, places and manner of holding elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each state by the legislature thereof”
~~~~~
The Constitution means what it says it means. If the Supremes don’t like it the Constitution even prescribes the ways in which it must be changed. Those ways do not include Supreme Court fiat.
