DHS Chief Alejandro Mayorkas Vows to Reinstate ‘Sanctuary Country’ Orders After SCOTUS Ruling
Breitbart ^ | 06/23/2023 | JOHN BINDER

Posted on 06/23/2023 1:11:22 PM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

After the Supreme Court ruled that states lack standing to sue President Joe Biden’s administration for not enforcing federal immigration law, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas says he will reinstate the agency’s so-called “sanctuary country” orders that shield most of the nation’s illegal aliens from arrest and deportation.

“We applaud the Supreme Court’s ruling,” Mayorkas said:

DHS looks forward to reinstituting these guidelines, which had been effectively applied by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers to focus limited resources and enforcement actions on those who pose a threat to our national security, public safety, and border security. The guidelines enable DHS to most effectively accomplish its law enforcement mission with the authorities and resources provided by Congress. [Emphasis added]

On Friday, the Supreme Court ruled in an 8-1 decision that “a citizen lacks standing to contest the policies of the prosecuting authority when he himself is neither prosecuted nor threatened with prosecution” and thus states lacked standing to sue over the orders.

"Needs to be impeached ASAP"

Noting the following post-Election Day 2022 thread about McCarthy rattling his saber about impeaching Mayorkas, I think that Mayorkas is on the “hurry up and wait” list.

Kevin McCarthy Calls for Alejandro Mayorkas to Resign, Threatens Impeachment if DHS Secretary Resists (11.22.22)

Regarding 2024 elections, it's up to us patriots to initiate the final stage of Trump 47's second term mission to finish draining the swamp by primarying as many of our beloved state and federal lawmakers and executives as we can.

After all, lawmakers and executives continue to show that they do not have the patriotism and leadership skills necessary to find legislative support for effective remedies for unconstitutional government policies.

In fact, given that one of the very few powers that the states have expressly constitutionally given to the unconstitutionally big federal government to dictate domestic policy is to run the Mail Service (most federal domestic policy actually based on stolen state powers), the worst problem that the peacetime country would otherwise be looking at with a new Congress of freshman lawmakers is a delay with mail delivery.

"Article I, Section 8, Clause 7: To establish Post Offices and post Roads;"

Trump can endorse candidates that Constitution-savvy patriots recommend as long as candidates are not incumbents, candidates also promising to repeal the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments after they win office.

The definition of insanity is reelecting your beloved career state and federal lawmakers and executives over and over again, expecting those same politicians to find remedies for unconstitutional government policies every time.

States do have the right. It’s called secession.

Even before secession, they can send their illegals to Democrat cities and states. They have the right to defend their borders and if the Feds pretend it's not the Fed's job to deport them, send them ALL to the White Hut, Martha's Vineyard, Chicago, San Francisco, and every Democrat's house they can find.

Mayorkas, the racist biatch needs to be in jail. Loading the country up with freeloading Hispanics should be illegal. The boy needs to recuse himself from dealing with the miggies and immigration.

Stupid SC. Of course they knew this Administration would double down, after they let them get away with it.

Bless Thomas, it must be horrible for him to go to work everyday like this

He needs to be removed along with all of the other crooks in this administration.

In the meantime, I’d love to see a family of 25 illegals move in next door to him.

>>Needs to be impeached ASAP<<
Question is..why hasn’t he already been impeached? Next question, Why hasn’t Governor Abbott declared an invasion and begin deporting illegals?

Of course he’ll run into federal roadblocks, but I’d say deport them anyway. What’s the feds gonna do? Arrest Gov. Abbott?

Task the Texas guard, Texas Rangers, DPS and local law enforcement with forced deportation. Heck, anyone who has a CHL and background checks should be deputized to aid in this effort. Illegal immigration has got to stop!

Can we shoot illegals and just say we’re not going to recognize murder charges unless it’s a US citizen.

Or I could identify as not guilty.

Read the Gorsuch dissent. The problem is that immigration law is a mess of Congress’s creation.

Don’t count on that. They’re probably rounding them up as we speak. The goal is to flip Texas.

The Supreme Court is BS these days. John Roberts should be in prison. I’m still 100% positive he leaked Dobbs.

"DHS Chief Alejandro Mayorkas Vows to Reinstate ‘Sanctuary Country’ [???] Orders After SCOTUS Ruling"
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Noting the post-Election Day 2022 date on the following thread, Kevin McCarthy will rescue us from Mayorkas! (sarc)

Kevin McCarthy Calls for Alejandro Mayorkas to Resign, Threatens Impeachment if DHS Secretary Resists (11.22.22)

I've added the constitutionally undefined DHS to the post-17th Amendment ratification, politically correct interpretation of Constitution's first numbered clause.

"Article I, Section 1: All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives [and non-popularly-elected bureaucrats running Federal Reserve, IRS, EPA, BLM, FDA, NIH, CDC, FWS, DHS, etc [emphasis added]."

Regardless that Mayorkas seems to be the center of attention on this issue, even if corrupt, post-17 Amendment ratification Congress tried to sell us on the idea that the taxpayer dollars being used to support illegal immigration is foreign aid, Justice Joseph Story had clarified that foreign aid is constitutionally indefensible.

If the tax be not proposed for the common defence, or general welfare, but for other objects, wholly extraneous, (as for instance, for propagating Mahometanism among the Turks, or giving aids and subsidies to a foreign nation, to build palaces for its kings, or erect monuments to its heroes,) it would be wholly indefensible upon constitutional principles [emphases added].” — Justice Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution 2 (1833).
