I know several people did 4.5 of 5 years for possession of a hunting weapon by a convicted pot smuggler minimum on federal charges
20 years after prison was over
And they did not do it at Elgin or Pensacola NAS camps
They did it in real joints
They have zero shame and plenty game
To get a federal gun charge lifted you have to be cooperating against other defendants in a substantial way

Agreed. One suspects that a pardon is waiting in the wings. Timed for the last possible minute, perhaps?
That said, I haven't believed for a minute that Mister Biden actually plans to run for re-election (think last minute bail-out).
Now, following the plea deal, the oppo ads by the GOPers write themselves.
I would bet my allowance (if I actually got an allowance) that Biden is not really running for re-election. It might be to the GOP's advantage to suspect this earlier rather than later.
