An elementary school in Charlottesville, Virginia, encouraged fourth graders to lead a pride month celebration of LGBTQ+ gender ideology during a schoolwide monthly meeting, video obtained by The Daily Signal shows.
Video shows a little girl at Johnson Elementary School speaking into a microphone and telling a crowd of assembled children, who are all sitting on the ground, that “LGBTQ+” stands for “lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer.” At one point, a man who appears to be Assistant Principal John Kronstain walks through the crowd of children and leads one away by the hand.
“Cool,” another girl says cheerfully. “Now, let’s have a book about pride month.”
Someone in the background of the video can be heard saying quietly, “I’m shaking.”

About 15 years ago I was in an adult summer class at a community college. Somehow the topic of Juneteenth came up and most of the class chimed in with, “What’s that?”
As a Texan I knew what it was, but one of the black ladies in the class spoke up and explained the significance of it to the class.
Somehow over the past 15 years Juneteenth has progressed from a rather obscure black culture phenomenon to virtually a national holiday. :)
Nothing virtual about it: Banks & Post Offices closed.
Some are campaigning to make this the “REAL” Independence Day.
Get ‘em when they’re young. “Education” is fundamental.
Where does the word Pride fit in. Are they proud of the fact that they are teaching kids to live a lie?
Obviously they want to teach anything but educational subjects.

Our granddaughter in California had her last day of elementary school on May 25th, graduating from there to go to middle school in August. Normal for mild weather in California.
Our granddaughters in Iowa had their last day of elementary school on June16th, with one graduating from there on Monday June 19th. Something wrong about Des Moines, Iowa? They do get snow days there, although now a heat wave.
US dept of education has become the enemy of the people.

Some kids had their last school day today. Some schools have year-round schooling with short breaks.
Many Northern California schools were still in session this past week and many if not most high schools had graduation this past week.

I’m 84 and my wife is 83, and about a week ago, we discussed our good and not so good teachers.(different schools/states).
She basically never had a bad teacher or professor. I had one, in high school, my geometry teacher. I aced her class and tests, and she hated me for that.
I had one college professor nicknamed Square Root Smith, the Square root of his algebra 1 class, he passed. I got my only D from him.
Our sons in California had good teachers at first, and by the time they finished 12 years, they had basically worthless teachers. Fortunately, there were some good teachers who retired and were church members. They would tutor our kids at their home or our home.
My Mother was a great reading teacher. When MLK was killed, she was told by the principal that she could no longer test students to see what level of reading and math skills Testing for skill level was racist. That was in what had been a great N.Virginia school system before MLK was killed.
She resigned moved back to the SW and used her system for about 20 years until a new school board said those tests were racist.
She resigned and tutored private students for a decade +.
She predicted the current public school mess, decades ago.

Too many teacher "work days" or something like that.
In our school the teachers and parents got together and decided that kids in school after Memorial Day and before Labor Day was weird and so we worked out a schedule that did not do that. And even with snow days have managed to stick to it. And we are in the northern part of Michigan and get hit with the lake effect snow machine on a regular basis.
School in June is like Hockey in June. People may do it but it is just wrong.
