"We must rise above our partisan interests and remember that our loyalty lies with our country. The United States of America is more significant than any one person or any one party. That's what being a conservative means to me, and that's what being an American should mean to all of us."

I believe that this attack on Trump is quite inaccurate. The Presidential Records Act clearly gives Trump the right to possess the sensitive information in question, and his conduct with such information seems no worse than Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden.
I hope that Trump isn’t the Republican nominee, but not at all due to the bogus indictments he has recently been subjected to.

How does the author know what was in those classified docs? He can’t read them without getting a security clearance which I doubt many journalists have. So that means he’s relying on the media’s representation of what’s in them, and they’re relying on the FBI & DOJ for that. IOW, he doesn’t have a clue but he believes anything the media says. And yet he claims to be a “conservative?” 🤣

Not the argument to make at all. The argument to make is that Trump is sloppy, he seeks the Antichrist media approval. He is not ruthless enough to defeat the left. THAT is the argument. There is no- coexistence with the left!

This guy's name was familiar to me in a somewhat controversial context, so I did some research to confirm what I remembered.
It turns out he was embroiled in controversy some years ago when it was revealed that the U.S. Department of Education under the GWB administration was paying him hundreds of thousands of dollars to use his syndicated columns and radio show to promote the “No Child Left Behind” Act.
He’s a grifter and a phony … which is probably why I haven’t read or heard anything he’s has to say in years.

> Donald Trump mishandled highly sensitive, classified information <
I am both shocked and disappointed by Mr Armstrong’s comments here. Did Trump mishandle classified information? I dunno. Maybe.
But here’s one thing I’m sure of. Trump’s “mishandling” of documents was no worse than that of any previous or current president. And Hillary Clinton’s reckless behavior with national secrets was worse than them all.
This is a case of selective prosecution. If Mr Williams cannot see that, he is either stupid or compromised. Enjoy your future one-party fascist state, Mr Williams.

What is the endgame here is that President Trump will have to go on the stand and testify that he decided to declassify the documents. That's all that's required by the Constitution.
And that is the Trump card. What are they going to do - convict him of a thought crime?

Here’s the truth. NeverTrumpers and Democrats are lying. Under the Presidential Records Act, Trump can take whatever documents he wants and his decision is unreviewable according to the federal courts.
That was the ruling when Bill Clinton took audio recordings containing top secret information. So that’s the ruling tha governs Trump as well.

Democrats have no sense of disgrace, shame, or honor. They prey on the false sense of reciprocated integrity from Republicans like Armstrong Williams to stay in power.
