I don’t know what you mean.
That was my first thought!
*Deep red state. Where’s the heavy lifting?*
*I don’t know what you mean.*
If you don’t know I’m not gonna tell ya.
No problem.
I get it now. That’s a good point.
I once heard that there are more cows in North Dakota than people.
I have a friend that was working the oil fields up there, working with explosives during the drilling processes. So cold that they had to sent 3 to 4 guys out, who would work in a sequence as one person couldn’t be exposed for too long. One guy would do one thing, get back in the truck to warm up. Next guy would pick up where he left off, etc etc.
But, my buddy did say that it was always awesome to go to the local diners in the morning. Hang out with all the ranchers in their overalls and the same Carhartt overalls they’ve had for years. Folks that are generational. Then look outside and see their $100k pickups they were driving since the oil company put a few pumps on their land.
Anywho....another guy that is going to get ushered off the stage, quick, but for some reason, even though he is oh so smart, believes the Rove’s of the world who told him he has a chance.
The article was speaking about a national race
All half million ain’t gonna help him
“All half million ain’t gonna help him”
I agree with you.
FUGLY NEVER WINS!
North Dakota? Well...thats practically Canada.
ND.
Thank you, FRiend. Well done video, communicates what many want to hear. Prayers up that his message is heard.
He isn't a bad fellow, but comes from an 'old money' family. My mother once worked for his mother. Their family fortune comes from the Gamble-Skogmo retail empire which had a chain of auto parts and variety stores in much of flyover country from the 1920s through the 1960s.
Parts were sold off to bigger retailers at opportune times and they invested their money very well. I even had a class with Doug in college. Smart young man, quite down-to-earth at the time.
His mother bought him a promising software company with some of the family fortune. He built it into one of the leading accounting firms software programs (Great Plains) in the world and Bill Gates bought him out and made him a billionaire about the turn of the millennium.
Then it was off to a new career in politics. Remember, he is a billionaire, not a multi-billionaire in the mold of a Forbes or Bloomberg. I'm not sure he is devoted enough to the Davos crowd to earn their support, but he is allowed to hang around with them.
Don’t know how old you are, but I’m about the same age as Doug per my previous post. He reminds me a little of Governor Arthur Link, a Democrat who pretty much voted the party line during a term or two in congress before North Dakota lost a congressional seat, but he became an outstanding governor, both socially and fiscally conservative.
thank you for the thoughtful reply.
These people are running on 3 things.
1) Name Recognition.
2) Trump doesn’t make it to the 2024 election.
3) Trump is in jail in 2024.
Any other reasons are pointless.
Nice. Hope he has lots of good ideas.
You are kidding, right? Outside of FR, Ukraine doesn’t make any significant main stream news at all and hasn’t since the first few months of the war. It is not front and center anywhere.
