California’s State Senate passed a bill last week to give unemployed illegal migrants $300 weekly unemployment checks for up to 20 weeks, despite the fact that the state faces a $32 billion budget deficit.
As Breitbart News reported last month:
California’s fiscus has fallen in the space of one year from a surplus of $100 billion, partly based on federal cash for coronavirus relief, to a staggering deficit of $32 billion.
In his revised budget, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) cautioned legislators to maintain “prudence.” But under SB 227, “excluded” workers who are in the country illegally would be able to receive $300 per week in benefits.
…
California’s unemployment insurance program is already controversial, having lost $30 billion in fraudulent claims during the pandemic. The state recently defaulted on a federal loan to cover a shortfall in benefits.
Now, the Washington Free Beacon reports, the bill, SB 227, proposed by State Sen. María Elena Durazo (D-Agoura Hills), has passed the State Senate and moves to the Assembly, with heavy potential implications:

Good ol’fashioned DEMONRAT VOTE BUYING. Otherwise called BRIBERY.
Good. Send them ALL to Kalifornia.
Buying the votes of illegal invaders in broad daylight.
If I still lived in CA, I’d be pissed, but I dont.
if you take note; 99% of the CA legislature has names ending in a "Z" (jus sayin)
connect the dots yourself
How is one who broke the law to get here, entitled to an unemployment check, when they never held a job in this country to begin with?
What is the point of being an America citizen? Illegals seem to reap the benefits without having to endure the duties of being an American such as Selective Service, jury duty, paying taxes, etc.
We citizens just keep forkin it over.
The reason the slime in Sacramento keep pulling this it-shay is they know the elections here would make Boss Tweed purple with jealous rage.
Reparations, total support for non-citizens, guaranteed annual income. Very soon there will be no money left, and no one will want to earn it in CA since it will be seized and given away.
Socialism is great until you run out of other peoples’ money. Anybody who continues to work and earn money in CA is a fool.
Why would any illegals go anywhere but there if this is true. Texas can tell all illegals :if you go to California you get free. Money.
Cartel-ifornios.
California aka Hell on Earth
Unemployed is defined by having employment and losing it (under a number of strict rules in each state).
So like the saying about recovery: You can’t leave a place where you have never been.
California rules——(for those citizens out of work)
During the base period, you must have earned at least:
$1,300 in your highest paid quarter, or
$900 in your highest paid quarter and, during the entire base period, at least 1.25 times your high-quarter earnings.
Are You Out of Work Through No Fault of Your Own?
You must be out of work through no fault of your own to qualify for unemployment benefits.
Be physically able to work.
Be available for work.
Be ready and willing to accept work immediately.
This is only one example of what’s going on all over the country: Residents (people who live here but are not citizens) are being given more and more rights (rights that they’re not legally entitled to), while Americans are losing their rights of citizenship little by little.
In a home with say 10 illegals they will just have a couple receive the checks then after the 20 weeks another couple etc then back to the original but under different names and repeat.
How would the democrats check the names?

It’s California, IT’S WHAT THEY DO.
AND-—SHOW me the SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER THEY FILED A 1040 under.
Perhaps the “big one” is overdue.
