We can only speculate, and hope it's not anything deadly this time.

Heard it as far south as Dumfries, VA. Shook the house, but sounded like it came from the air. Meteor?

If it’s a bomb of any sort...the FBI did it, but will blame MAGA.

One was gonna have a little fun at the expense of a certain Dem senator here, but... Nah.
These aren’t fun times and besides, it woulda been just too easy...

I almost hate to admit this, but it depends on what was targeted.

Did someone just find that missing Ammonium nitrate? What ever it is, it will be blamed on far right-wing white supremacists. I don’t care if it was just a squirrel in a transformer causing an electrical surge and explosion.

Most likely a sonic boom. Either a drill which was cleared to go supersonic, or an aircraft that was off its flightpath and our guys had to intercept.

Heard it as far south as Dumfries, VA. Shook the house, but sounded like it came from the air. Meteor? It could be but I doubt any democrats would recognize it as a potential warning from the Almighty.

“Annapolis Explosion: DC Air National Guard conducted air defense drills over the Chesapeake Bay and was cleared to go supersonic during an alert scramble exercise.”
I get worried anytime the feds/military are doing “drills”.

Mysterious 'explosion' is heard in DC that shakes windows and doors and is compared to an 'earthquake' online I doubt an online earthquake is very dangerous, regardless of its magnitude. That's not much to compare an "explosion" to.
