He’s declaring himself to be a natural-born winner. Which is fine, as far as it goes. But has DeSantis thought this through?
Saying you are a winner is not the same as being a winner. Winners generally set themselves up to win, before actually winning. Trump has done that, in particular when it comes to competition for the Pubbie POTUS nomination. His mowing down of ¡Jeb! is the template, and damned if it doesn’t look if Trump is setting DeSantis up for the same date as Jeb Bush.
Jeb was thought to be a winner early. But, boy howdy, did he go splat, and in a big hurry.

Just like “Byzantine” isn’t pronounced “Byezantine” or “Beezantine,” but you might get a little bit of an “i” sound shifting straight from B or D to Z, as in “Bizzantine,” but it’s closer to “Bzantine.” Likewise, you might get “DiSantis,” which always screws me up because I gew up with people named “DiSantos.” But they were “Dssantowess,” too.

I also do not think President Trump will ever again be president.
I further think no America First Republican will ever be president.

Ron will need to realize handling the occasional dumb, leading or seemingly idiotic question is a part of live action politics. He doesn’t need to become stopped in his tracks or over think each one, but receiving silly questions is part of the territory.
Sometimes its baiting, just to provoke a flustered response from the candidate. Imagine being the reporter who asks a question of Mike Pence and getting Pence so angry that he tells the reporter to “F*** Off!”. That would temporarily “break the internet”.
