I'd love to know how many of those three dozen analysts anticipated any bleed over from BL to AB at all. Because an awful lot of those first takes predicted there wouldn't be.

I'm scratching my head a little at the apparent lack of anyone actually asking the people boycotting what they're angry about. You know, actual market research? What I do read is a lot of speculation, accusation of bigotry, and desperate framing of the question designed to dance around that basic question. No acknowledgment that it insulted and marginalized women, no demographic studies about who's switched, no focus groups asking anyone what the beef is. Journalism in general has switched from asking questions to grand social narrative and it looks like marketers have too.

Wall Street remains fairly bullish on Anheuser-Busch; the nearly three dozen analysts surveyed by FactSet have an average price target of about $67 for the stock, implying roughly 25% upside and projecting it to hit its pre-controversy level

Counting on short attention spans by Americans. They may be wrong this time - Bud Light is already in uncharted waters as far as the longevity of a conservative boycott goes.

Barron’s even had an article this morning explaining why it was a good time to buy Bud stock. They still are promoting a $75.00 target price. Apparently, no one listened to them.
