Governor Chris Sununu (R-NH) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that former President Donald Trump did not accomplish draining the swamp or securing the border.
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “If you think that culture war issues are too much of a focus for candidates like DeSantis or Trump, what do you think they should be focusing on? What would you, theoretically, if you decide to run, focus on?

At least DeSantis, who locked Florida down after Trump called him personally to do so, woke up, changed course, fired his surgeon general (who supported the lockdowns) and re-opened the state.

Trump was the most effective and consequential President since Ronald Reagan.
He transformed the US economy, secured the borders, protected dying American industries that were being killed by predatory dumping practices of foreign competition, restored some sanity to the sell out International trade agreements negotiated by previous administrations, and was bringing manufacturing back to the US.
Most important of all, Trump restored American energy independence and was well on his way to American economic energy dominance.
Since the 70s politicians have made pursuit of energy dominance the holy grail of American economic policy. They make public promises they break in the smoky Washington back rooms in exchange for bribes from OPEC and the Ukraine.
Trump finally delivered on all above and had to be destroyed at all costs because America's self appointed Elite have have cast their lot with China and other foreign interests and for them to get rich and powerful, their fellow Americans must become poor and powerless.
