Former President Donald Trump launched a hail of attacks directed at Gov. Ron DeSantis Friday morning as rumors continue to swirl regarding an impending DeSantis presidential run.
Trump criticized the Florida governor over his state’s “very average” handling of the coronavirus pandemic and pointed to former Democrat New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s handling of the situation.
“How about the fact that he had the third most deaths of any State, as Governor, on the China Virus. Even Cuomo did better,” Trump said on TRUTH Social.
Cuomo reportedly oversaw his state’s health agency “misle[a]d the public” on nursing home deaths.

The only reason there is no state lockdown order with Trump’s name on it is because he didn’t have the legal ability to do so. He did issue a lot of Covid restrictions for travel and for federal employees, the military and for federal contractors. But keep in mind that the state lockdowns were based on Trump’s “guidelines” and were made largely possible by him providing the states with money. He also castigated governors who tried to end lockdowns earlier than he thought they should. So while Trump may not have signed the lockdowns, he was certainly the godfather of them.

We have a mental patient for a Senator in Pennsylvania because Trump sabotaged the true conservative and installed a carpetbagging leftist as our nominee.
DeSantis helped craft much of the legislation he signed. He didn't just wait for things to hit his desk. He took an active role in crafting the conservative policies that have benfitted Floridians far more than the policies enacted by 6-time loser Trump.....who only got one major piece of legislation passed, a tax cut that is about to expire.
You cultists cannot even give DeSantis credit for the good he has done. You look for ways to take away his accomplishments. You are no different than Democrats.

Ignores all kinds of Biden created fedgov aggression against the State of Florida to get people who had early Covid— real effective treatment (example: the central pharmacy of fedgov restricted the requested quantities of monoclonal antibodies . Biden’s “czars” did not send them, so the Governor ordered them from other sources using fed and State money to get them to people. A huge action that saved a lot of lives, of poor and middle class people. Administered in stadiums around the State).
