James Comer (R-Ky.) promised he was going to release evidence of financial misconduct by the Biden family. What we got instead of bank records is a memo written by the House Oversight Committee summarizing what’s in the records.
This is not how winning works.
Not releasing the actual records allows the White House to claim that Republicans have nothing and this is all a publicity stunt. Republicans made sure to give an incredibly boring press conference about it that will put everyone who watches it immediately to sleep. Do not listen to this while driving or operating heavy machinery.
Why do they act like this? I’m convinced Republican lawmakers are paid to lose. The AP has already started the spin for the White House.

They don’t want to hold him accountable. That would lead to many other corrupt politicians being outed. They just want to use this to get attention, and attempt to gain points with the public.

I agree with you, I’ve been skeptical of what was going to be released yesterday.
I 100% believe the accusations from yesterday are true.
We know nothing criminal is going to result from the current investigation, the only alternative at this point is to continue holding these press conference while also releasing all the information to the public.
Your goal should be to affect 1-2% of voters and get them to switch their votes which could easily change the outcome of the election.

We’ve been through this too many times. I was correct in expecting a big nothing burger from Comer.
The Republicans are great at calling attention to the illegal activities of the Dems, but woefully lacking in converting this ability into useful benefits. The ACTBLUE money laundering by the Dems is a prime example. Thousands of elderly retired citizens have been used to funnel illegal money into the coffers of the Dems. It appears that nobody is spending any effort on exposing the sources of this funny money. The DOJ should be all over this knowledge like white on rice, but nothing is being done. Why is the majority in the House doing nothing?

BTW, I am still waiting for Speaker McCarthy to release the FULL VIDEO FOOTAGE of January 6, 2021. All we’re getting is bits and pieces that gives room for Democrats and RINOs to say that pundits like Tucker Carlson are taking things out of context.
Evidence is saved for the courts never give the enemy any of it they have the media to help them to twist and spin it.

Yup, this is exactly how I feel. Dumb-a$$es vote for tyrannical politicians that want them dead. Then they blame the people who are pushing back against it.
I have never expected that I would be old enough that I probably will not be here when the US finally falls. Now I am glad I (probably) will be dead first.
Tens of millions of dollars went from China, Russia, Romania, Ukraine, etc. to shell corporations that then sent the money to Biden family members. Those members produced no work product that can be discerned. Why were they paid?
When I was working overseas as a consultant for a foreign firm I was paid directly into my bank account here in the USA. I did not request they send the money to a shell company LLC. Why did they Bidens use shell companies that were not even a business.
