This will blow up in Newsoms face. He wants to be the poster boy for replacing Biden in 2024. When the blacks burn down LA again, he will be toast.

If the 2.5 million blacks in CA were all eligible and had lived in CA for 2 years, each would receive $90,000, for a total of $225 billion.

Anything about using DNA to verify/calculate their claims?

Just one category used in cacluation:

“Health Harms”

Derived from the difference in life expectancy between Black and White residents in California, 7.6 years in 2021.

$994,187.

Who knew you could get a million bucks for eating fast food and participating in gang violence??

God bless America.

Nope - likely just a drivers license, utility bill, or the like to prove residency. DNA would do no good because they’d have to dig up every black that crooked from the 1600s - 1800s to get a matching DNA reading.

The government has to do a background check way back to slavery times and the numbers will be small ,sorry out-of-staters

Hard for me to figure out how this plays out. Obviously, the blacks aren’t going to get a thin dime. But will that make them vote for anyone but a democrat? Doubt it.

Mexican-Americans aren’t going to vote for it, that’s also obvious. Besides their general animosity towards blacks, they can reasonably say that they and their ancestors had nothing to do with American slavery. So if Newsom kills the stupid idea, they may support him more than ever.

Radical whites may be upset with Newsom, but like blacks, where are they going to take their votes?

And for the sane in California, well, under California law, they’re lucky to even get a candidate to vote for.

Democraps love to buy votes with taxpayer money. More cost-effective than campaigning.

I watched on TV this morning as one of the Caifornia reparation commission members was speaking, to justify the announced results of the commissions work. The woman’s name is Cheryl Grills. She is very successful person, in the professional fields she has chosen. The question I could not ask her was: If slavery and racism was key to “keeping blacks down”, for “400 years” (she said), then how does she explain her own success???

You can look with online searches and find many links that describe many parts of her background.

The may links you can find actually explain part of her “success”, which has been selling “black” exploitation as her reason for everything about blacks in America. In other worda, she has built her success on using the theme of blacks as oppressed. That is contrary to many blacks in the same professions as Ms Grills that did not follow in her “we are opporessed” footsteps, and became very successful without her views about race and themselves.

Born in Kali in 1962. Left in 2005.

According to the calculator, I would be owed $793,000 if I had a darker complexion.

Where do I sign up to be somebody the government likes? I wanna get some cash from all of you too!

When they find out most are about 50% scotch irish, that would not play well.

Same with some of the Indian tribes that tried to use DNA testing for tribal membership.

Humans like to boink. It makes family trees messy.

One reason I do not want to do 23 and Me, is that while on my Dad’s side I am 100% who is who back to at least four generations, my maternal grandfather and his siblings do not look like their “father” on the birth certificate and do have resemblance to other families in the area.

Best to let some skeletons stay hidden while impacted folks are still alive.
