A few of thoughts: 1.) Santos is innocent until proven guilty. 2.) You can have opinions about Santos without a trial. 3.) Even though, Republicans have different standards than Democrats, we don’t want to take on Democrat standards. That makes use Democrats. 4.) There are different standards of justice, see #3. 5.) As I write this, Republicans are having a news conference about the Biden Crime Family and the FBI is required to provide Congress with a document by noon. Beware of any attempt by DOJ/FBI to divert attention away from providing the document. Yesterday’s announcement about Santos has all the hallmarks of diverting attention. There are no coincidences.

So, they keep the respective Houses in session on an almost continuous basis. This impedes any real serious investigation plus if your party controls the DOJ it’s even easier!
In the first Tea party GOP House (2008 think!) the GOP banned stock trading for House members. I think members were required to put stock portfolios into a “blind trust” (That is into something out of their direct control!) Please note this is the House only! When the House was lost back to the Rats; Pelosi and cronies went back to the old ways of doing “business”. Of course the media hardly bothered to report this!
