Asa Hutchinson: Republicans Need to Take Trump’s Liable Verdict ‘Very Seriously’
Breitbart ^ | 05/09/2023 | Pam Key

Posted on 05/10/2023 6:11:39 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Republican presidential candidate and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R) said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “The 11th Hour” that Republicans need to take a Manhattan jury finding former President Donald Trump liable for sexual abuse “very seriously.”

Hutchinson said, “I practiced law for 25 years. Anytime a jury comes back with a verdict I respect the verdict of the jury. Jury verdicts reflect the community, they reflect America, and they also have the credibility of witnesses and the truth of the allegations, and they found unanimously that the allegations of sexual assault or true. So, I believe that we all, as a society, and Republicans, all to take that jury verdict very seriously. To do otherwise undermines our system of justice, which is second none in the world. Also it is simply a reflection of continued indefensible conduct by former president Donald Trump. That is what it means to me.

Anytime a jury comes back with a verdict I respect the verdict of the jury.

That means you respect the verdict of the jury in the O. J. Simpson and Emmett Till cases.

Oh, please. It was a new york city jury. Residents of new york city are hardly a reflection of America.

Back when Hillary was under investigation, the Democrats closed ranks.
But when Trump is in trouble, most of the GOP joins the mob.

This is why we can’t have nice things. It’s not D vs. R.
It’s D+R vs. the American middle class.

“Republican presidential candidate and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R) said Tuesday on MSNBC”

There’s the problem right there. Republicans going on liberal media outlets to denounce and trash other Republicans. They sure wouldn’t allow him on their network if he came on to defend Trump. He knows it. They know it.

Republicans going on the likes of MSNBC, especially to help attack fellow Republicans, is the equivalent of Axis Sally or Lord Haw Haw going on Nazi Germany radio to trash their respective countries.

Back when I lived in NYC a long time ago, people used to giggle about how Trump wouldn't date a girl unless his doctor first checked her out.

This was a hard and fast Trump rule because he was and is such a germophobe.

The idea that Trump would sleep with a girl or even touch a girl without his doctor's seal of approval is laughable.

Statements like that from Asa makes him a political hack. Just an empty suit.

Asa! needs an exclamation point after his name because he’s as exciting as Lamar!

Has anybody ever seen Asa! and Lamar! together?

Why didn’t Trump use that in his defense?
