Knowing that Crimea has been built into a fortress, Ukrainians talk about the “political military” liberation of Crimea, not a purely military counteroffensive, he said.
Once we have cut off the roads, railroads, and waterways to the peninsula, and targeted the military infrastructure with drones, we presume that many Russian inhabitants, especially recent immigrants, will become convinced that they would be better off living elsewhere, he said.
Some have reportedly fled already, The Atlantic noted, following an explosion on the Kerch Strait Bridge (which connects Crimea to Russia) and other explosions on the peninsula.
“We will take Crimea without a fight,” Reznikov told journalists.

So why beclown thyself?
The East bound traffic on the Kersh Bridge has been non-stop bumper to bumper for weeks.
Good thing for the Ukies no one with any sense believes this. If they did they’d say, “ Guess the Ukies don’t need any more aid.”
of a story.
The Russian have used such tactics before, that when a position becomes militarily untenable, they withdraw, leaving behind booby traps and snipers. They then announce that it was their plan to do so all along, that the opposition has suffered severe losses, and that the lost territory will soon return to Russian control.
Someone should tell The Clown Reznikov about the Sevastopol Naval Base.
We really need a master thread like to one used by the qtards where all the war propaganda BS can be sent.
Diversion.
Or a bargaining chip
Damaging the Kerch Bridge! Ukrainian’s biggest victory during the war. lol
Don’t forget the capture of Snake Island!
I want the drugs he’s on.
Another Baghdad Bob. A sign of desperation or delusion.
The comments are interesting. Do they mean Ukraine won’t attack Crimea due to US pressure or based on military reasoning?
The comments here that it’s a “lie” are silly.
Ukraine may still attack in the area north of Crimea we will see.
Putin would be finished if he lost Crimea. Dead. Can’t imagine he would rule out a tactical nuke if it came to that.
“Can’t imagine he would rule out a tactical nuke if it came to that.”
Russia has a million men buried in Ukraine. Half of those are in Crimea...they fought 4 major wars there.
OF COURSE they would use nukes to keep it.
The whole idea of this siege approach to taking Crimea depends on military aid, specifically long range weapons like HIMARS launched GLSDB and drones.
This approach worked very well at Kherson.
Cut off supplies through high tech interdiction. It’s a modern approach to siege warfare.
Crimea would be a step up from the Kherson bridgehead, but not out of the question, if the Ukrainians get to Perekop and the Azov coast, and the sufficient supply of long range munitions, like GLSDB.
What he describes is a fight. They are going to blow up bridges, roads, and stop supplies from coming in.
Taking Kherson was the biggest Ukrainian victory to date, looking at it strategically.
That was an extremely dangerous bridgehead. The Russians, had they had the force structure, could directly threaten the Ukrainian interior, take every position from behind, eliminate Ukrainian “strategic depth”.
Luckily for Ukraine the Russian army was unable to take advantage of this.
