A think tank released a new bombshell report this week revealing that the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals only provides 2% of its total budget to pet shelters throughout the United States, despite having hundreds of millions of dollars and providing many employees with six-figure salaries.
The Center for the Environment and Welfare, a new think tank dedicated to sustainability and animal welfare, released a report exposing the ASPCA, a nonprofit organization formed to prevent animal cruelty, for deceptively using donors' dollars to support "radical and elitist" anti-farmer policies instead of funding animal shelters.
In conjunction with the shocking report, the think tank announced the launch of a new media campaign to "expose the duplicity" of the ASPCA.
According to CEW, the ASPCA's most recent tax filings revealed that the nonprofit had $390 million in revenue and $575 million in assets, including roughly $11 million in offshore Caribbean accounts.

The left has seized control of almost every organization in the country, including most churches. The Sierra Club was adamantly opposed to population growth, including illegal immigration. The left seized that organization years ago and did away with its population growth and illegal immigration stance.
Amen
Exactly...local shelters (and especially the animals) really appreciate donations of food, treats, and litters. I ‘earmark’ my donations for cats. :-) NO “SKIMMING” for six-figure administrators...
Before I retired, my employer always gave all of us a large bag of dog food and a large bag of cat food. Mine always went to the local shelter. I still donate used beds, harnesses, and other equipment. If they need food, I’ll donate that too.
Those ads on TV make me mad. I know the animals don’t benefit. Everybody that loves animals should turn it off and donate locally.
And famine is on the ruling class agenda these days.
Samaritans Purse gets all our giving. I knew the founders and know the work they do.
Don’t forget cia director bush.
He started promoting the new world order.
That being said, the humane society of the United States is the worst.
If only there were a few million more like you in this country...
Dittos, keep it local. You can easily see first hand what they’re doing and where the money goes.
That's how I got one of mine two years ago. She showed up at my house half starved. I put her picture on Facebook in the local group in case she was lost. I took her in because she acted like a housedog.
After FB didn't get many results, I called the shelter. The lady came out and checked her for a chip. She had one that had been inserted by the shelter. She called the former owner that adopted her two years prior, and found out that he dumped her on the side of the road. She was livid! She threatened him into giving her up and he agreed. I adopted her. The records showed that she was 10-years-old at the time, had always been a housedog, and was dumped on the road. She needed extensive dental work but two cleanings, three teeth pulled, and over $1200 later, she is fine. It took two weeks to purge her system of the roadkill she ate for two weeks while on the road. She gets her teeth brushed when the others do and is SO tolerant. She is in the house with mine and in the fenced yard when not in the house. I can't imagine what she could have done to make somebody dump her on the side of the road. She is the BEST dog ever. She immediately took up with my two Feists and even protects them. She will have a home here until she crosses the bridge.
People make me sick!
This is her.
Her new Christmas orthopedic bed last year. LOL
“radical and elitist” = corruption.
This is likely how it works:
Members of a legit organization want to pocket the money but due to reporting and oversight they cannot do it directly. They find a corruption organization which offers kick-backs for contributions to their organization. They pay each other to send their contributions to the other’s organization where it’s expensed to vapor-efforts and pocketed by the members free of taxes and reporting.
This is corruption.
I support a local animal shelter that I xan trust.
Bttt
No surprise here. It’s just like the IFCJ where “But beyond Eckstein’s $1.2 million salary and benefit package ($530,514 in base compensation; $673,176 in other benefits), as well as at least eight leaders earning around $200,000, critics say their broader concerns about IFCJ involve the percentage of donations spent on fundraising and a mission that has “nothing to do with reconciling Jewish people to God.”
Working for “charities” os almost as good as worki8ng for Congre$$.
I understand what you mean when it comes to your area b/c it’s no better in Arkansas. We also support our local rescue groups, which are highly overwhelmed, and we have assisted transport groups. Each time I see a commercial by the ASPC it turns my stomach. This article was an eye opener. I knew very little of the donations actually went to the animals, but never did I imagine it was that low. BTW, your puppy looks like a sweetheart and God bless you for giving her a wonderful home.
What a beautiful girl. God bless you.
Most of these organizations are fronts for the DNC.
Thank-you. It’s a good thing the shelter refused to tell me who the owner was that put her on the side of the road.
