Former President Donald Trump lifts the lid on his love, hate, hate, hate relationship with the Bush family in his new book of letters, which includes thank-you notes from a president, a first lady and a president-to-be, alongside his own scathing commentary of where they went wrong.
In so doing it charts the shift from a time when establishment Republicans would thank Trump for his donations, before the power in the party moved to outsiders and upstarts.
'Letters to Trump,' was published by Winning Team Publishing on Tuesday.
The $99 book includes letters from President Richard Nixon, actor Alec Baldwin, and Oprah Winfrey among other politicians and stars of stage and screen.
And there are multiple contributions from the Bushes during their heyday as the biggest force in Republican politics.

Or, he should have stuck to his promise to not raise taxes.

$99 for Trump to show his penchant for celebrities. One of his weaknesses.
That’s what the bushes get for trashing trump and going libtard
Screw them
Ywo big major differences between President Trump and Governor DeSantis:
1 President Trump will always be honest and bluntly tell tell the truth.
2. President Trump will always go after the GOP-E and Globalists and Deep State and their Agenda. DeSanctimonious has gotten in bed with them.
The only reason why Bush I lost is summed up with one initial and two words.
H. Ross Perot.
Yep, Perot definitely pulled votes from Bush.
Perot would have been better than either Bush or Clinton. NAFTA was the single greatest sell out of this country ever with the exception of granting MFN status to China.
And yes, Bush II did more harm to this country by dragging us into a middle east war in which we had no business than Johnson did with Vietnam, or at least similar.
We don’t need, and the Republic cannot survive, having an Empire.
History will show that the Bush family made its fortune dealing with the Saudis in the oil business. The Bush family has always done the Saudi’s bidding even after 9/11.
Quote from article
And there is even a thank you letter from a proud father after Trump backed Jeb Bush when he was running for governor of Florida with a fundraising event at his New York home.
‘We love Jeb very much,’ wrote Bush senior. ‘We feel he is properly motivated and that he will be a great governor for Florida.
‘That you have helped him so generously by hosting that fund raiser means a lot to both Barbara and me.’
Twenty years later, and Trump had singlehandedly killed off their son’s political career with a devastating series of insults in the 2016 Republican nomination race.
‘The Bush family didn’t take too kindly when I ran against Jeb. But it was a competition,’ writes Trump in his new book.
‘Jeb was expected by almost everybody to win the Republican primary, and after about two weeks it was over for him.’
The Bush,Dole,Bush,McCain,Romney party with their Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama era, can be thanked for creating Trump’s run.
Gracias swamp.
Is ‘mocking’ really what American’s want from a President?
As for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars... Is Trump saying that the American’s who fought and died there did so for nothing?
The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were inevitable and necessary and America better stay in Iraq, because leaving Afghanistan has obviously turned into a complete sh*tshow. The next attack against America will likely come from elements that are currently conniving within the borders of that now despot sh*thole.
America always does better and gains allies when they invade a country, and then stay there... Just ask your allies in Germany, Japan and South Korea where America still has strategic bases for operations in foreign lands.
Without the Reagan effect, we probably would have had only one or two terms of Republicans before switching to Dim. Since Truman left office (which ended 5 WH terms in a row for Dims with FDR/Truman), the norm has been only 1 or 2 terms in the WH for a party, with the lone exception being 3 in a row for Republicans with Reagan/Bush Sr.
Massive spending, debt, trade deals, global wage arbitrage, immigration, etc etc. Nothing ever gets fixed with r's and d's in charge, as per the plan.
The only people lamenting the rejection of the Bush family of losers are the neoconnunists.
“Mocking” is the Daily Mail’s term.
Those of us who aren’t leftist media bootlickers would call that “expressing opinions.”
The opinions just happen to be contrary to the leftist media’s narrative.
That’s exactly why he ran, he didn’t really want the job. Mostly he wanted Bush out of the WH.
