There is a Sheriff in St. Paul, MN that talks about car chases and the law. He does not want all of the restrictions. He always mentions these stolen car joy rides “The Tik Tok Gang” that steal Hyundai and Kia and then just take them on crazy, destructive joy rides. No police chasing them.

They film themselves driving crazy, intentionally side-swiping parked cars, running lights, etc. And of course numerous serious accidents along the way.

In Chicago they’re called Kia Boys, and it’s all the rage among black kids in their early teens. I think there’s some sort of class action suit by Kia and Hyundai owners alleging that the manufacturers are responsible for making their cars so easy to steal.
