Why would a popular beer company pick Dylan Mulvaney, a man who pretends to be a woman, to endorse its product?

It's pretty clear that Bud Light has set off a firestorm by using Dylan Mulvaney, a man who pretends to be a woman, to promote its product.

Gareth Boyd, the marketing & PR director at Forte Analytica, says Bud Light lit its brand on fire and has lost touch with its core audience with the ad campaign.

"I really cannot understand their approach for this because their core audience just cannot relate," Boyd said. (snip)

"Kid Rock is the poster boy for Bud Light, and for someone like him to come out and shoot cans it tells you a lot about the reaction from their core base customers.

"People pouring beer down their sink, it says quite a bit about how out of touch they have been with this campaign."

I am not 100% sure who drinks Bud Light, but I expect that people wanting to lose weight and women are some of their target consumers.  It's possible that the marketers thought that these groups would find Mulvaney amusing.  If so, they missed the fact that having "Bud" in the name implicates Budweiser and their other brands.

As a matter of fact, Annheuser-Busch, Bud's parent company, was sold to a multinational conglomerate based in Belgium, InBev, 15 years ago.  If you enter an adult birth date here, you can see their many, many brands of beer, including Stella Artois, Modelo, Beck's, and Lowenbrau.

People angry at the aggressive trans movement, now becoming increasingly violent, can easily publicize these brands and boycott them all.

But Matt Walsh has laid out an explanation in this hour-long video that posits what amounts to extortion being at the root of InBev's move.

Add corona and modelo to your list of beers. inbev has a pretty big foot print in the beer world, Not as big as coca-cola. Coke and proctor gamble are almost impossible to boycott without a 2 page list that you carry to the grocery store.

Maybe they are setting the stage for a Michelle Obama run for the presidency. He would certainly have enough beer for those campaign rallies with free beer.

If the guy writing the article “doesn’t know who drinks bud light” he needs to get out more. Only every single Mexican, most white dudes, hell it’s the only beer I ever see get bought.

And I’m still seeing it. In real life, on the ground, nobody cares there’s a tranny on the can. They laugh it off, pop the top, and guzzle.

The folks at Budweiser are sexists.

They obviously feel women are eternal 17 year old girls, giggling, dramatic, and silly.

Dylan Mulvaney's playing an insulting stereotype of how sexist view women.

It's no different than showing black people as 'step and fetchit', eating watermelon and talking like Amos and Andy.

Shame on Budweiser.

“The trans movement seemingly came out of nowhere and has replaced Antifa and BLM as the shock troops of violent demonstrators attacking and silencing mainstream Americans”

Yes. Mentally ill, violent trannies are a sudden phenomenon. The left went from “accept us” to “or we’ll kill you” pretty fast. It took years to get to gay marriage. I guess they’re in a hurry to get to legalized pedophilia.

You've nailed it. Explains precisely why these large corporations are going woke. They fear the federal government destroying their businesses if they do not comply.

When people fear the government, they are living under tyranny. The stolen election has had enormous consequences (with much more to come)

You’d have to be a woman to think Bud Light is beer .

I’m guessing they did it so their executives and majority shareholders can short the stock and cash out. No other logical reason for fonging up the company to support .5 of 1% of Americans who probably don’t drink the swill anyway.

Good reason to start a good beer thread. I have been looking desperately for Bass Ale which seems to have vanished from American shores. Not in kegs or bottles. I prefer British Pale Ales. (Pale is the type of barley, not color). Most American craft beers these days taste like grapefruit. They over-hop them with fruity hops.

Second choice is Speckled Hen, which is also hard to find. It's like British pub style ales have vanished.

I respectfully disagree with the last line of your post.
I personally have many targets, and am fully capable of hitting all of them.

Right now, my target is anything made or imported through New York.
Along with butt-wiper.
Gillette.
jc penney.
target.

Just to name a few.
Im too damn old to go out and protest.
But, I can use the power of my pocketbook.
I have some money.
Communists don’t
