Former President Donald Trump gained ten points of support among Republicans since his arrest on Tuesday, expanding his lead over Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), according to a hypothetical Republican primary poll.
The Ispos/Reuters poll conducted after Trump’s arrest in Manhattan for a case many conservatives have dubbed “politically motivated” finds that 58 percent of registered Republicans want him as their nominee. DeSantis, who has not announced a candidacy for the race, secures second place with 21 percent of support. No other candidate eclipsed five percent of support.
Another Ispos/Reuters poll taken ahead of the arrest but after the indictment had Trump at 48 percent of support and DeSantis at 19 percent. In other words, Trump has seen a net gain of eight points to his lead over the Florida governor in just a few days’ time.
The race was much closer prior to the indictment. A third poll conducted from March 14-20 had Trump 14 points up on DeSantis, at 44 percent and 30 percent, respectively.

“put the quote into google and hit search.”
Worked for the first two. First one was a very shady poster (worse than yourself), second one is legit, but the quote is far more an attack on DeSantis than on his voters.
Others didn’t get any hits.
what has your governor done to protect your second amendment rights?...
I am NOT saying Trump should run as a third candidate.
I am merely observing that Democrats prefer Trump to be the nominee because RINOs will let them get away with cheating again.
Then you'd better dust off your hammer and sickle because Trump is going to get clobbered in '24.
And after the Democrats sweep a trifecta, they're going to move fast packing the USSC. They've already tested the messaging. "There used to be only nine lower appellate courts but now there's thirteen so we need thirteen Supreme Court justices to balance it out."
And they're going to get it.
2024 is shaping up to be a catastrophe for America and Trump will be leading the charge.
Quick Ron, your poll numbers are tanking- beat up on Disney some more.

You uniparty idiots have given too much ground to your far left partners. -
He’s from canuckistan. Explains it all. Ignore foreigners that post here, and you’ll be better off.

No. Those that vote for someone other than Trump (if he is the nominee) led the charge. Your boy has no chance for POTUS if Trump has no chance. You somehow think a GOPE sponsored nominee is going to win. I think the republic is already lost and idiots like you want to split those of us that mostly agree on things so the uniparty can kill us off. Commies always stick together and pick the rest off before they start killing themselves. Help them out more at your own risk.
If Trump earns the GOP nomination, I'll hold my nose and vote for him. Rest assured.
But I'm not the voter that you have to worry about. It's the tens of millions of independent and swing voters that won't vote for him. They don't post here. Probably don't spend much time thinking about politics at all, except when it's time to vote.
These are the people that Trump loses. And with them, so goes the election.
DeSantis might at least have a chance with these people, even if it's only a small chance.
But a small chance is better than zero chance which is what Trump has.
Hell, that's the one thing I like most about Trump! He'll tell Zelenski to go pound sand and let Putin collect his winnings.
I'd like to see DeSantis get on the same page.
I'm that weird DeSantis supporter who's rooting for Russia. Probably not many of us.

The democrats have one other play in mind if they choose to
use it and Biden/Harris are still their candidates.
It is: Reelect Biden/Harris and two years and one day after
being sworn in then Biden steps down and VP Harris becomes
the next President. If things go right she could be President
for 10 years minus one day.
The Democrats aren't that stupid. They are fully aware of Harris's unpopularity. She might be the only candidate that would lose to Donald Trump. They're not going to take that chance.
The only way she gets to be president is if Biden dies and then she'll only be a placeholder until the next Democrat primaries, which she won't win.
I’m not sure who the GOP would have on the ballot. I’m talking about if Biden wins re-election and she remains
the VP. Then Biden steps down and she becomes President.
The race hasn’t started yet. Trump is flailing at DeSantis like an angry drunk.
“The race hasn’t started yet. Trump is flailing at DeSantis like an angry drunk.”
Because of Trump’s “flailing,” the race is over before it even started.
Who’s next?

That's what you and your CINO establishment buddies hope and happens and will, of course, allow Democrats to cheat as much as necessary to make happen to make the narrative come true.
Why should anyone take your comments seriously when you refuse to acknowledge the rampant voter fraud that occurred in 2022? Trump won the real vote in a landslide. That's why he won 18 of 19 bellwether counties that voted with the winner since 1980. That you won't acknowledge that tells me all I need to know about you.
“The only thing left to do is let Trump splash around again in a campaign dominated more by his tweeting and personal beefs rather than presenting a coherent unified noncult of personality based conservative vision as usual , get crushed as usual, have his fans cry fraud and do absolutely nothing else as usual. And prepare for 2028”
Hi RINO anti-Trumper. How you doing today?
