I quit listening to country music with the group Alabama retired. I felt 25 years ago that CM was going down the toilet.

IMHO, country music ended in the 1980s...
Age or death caught up with the real country singers...

My taste in music is comparable to my taste in movies, viz. old. I eschew this politically correct, social justice, liberal crap.
(However, I did buy "Top Gun, Maverick." So, there's that.)

Country Music still lives in the country and on the highway but it’s been dead in the city for a long time. Rap, Woke and the electric Cowpoke killed it deader than dead.
