Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov said on Tuesday that his country has now been able to redirect all of its crude oil exports that have been impacted by Western sanctions over Ukraine to what he referred to as "friendly" countries. "I can say today that we have managed to completely redirect the entire volume of exports affected by the embargo. There was no decrease in sales," Shulginov was quoted by Reuters as saying.

The Rise of BRICS There is no question that Russia’s fellow members of the increasingly influential BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) Alliance have played a major role in helping the Putin government to achieve this outcome. India was the biggest buyer of Urals grade crude in March, accounting for almost 50% of all such exports. Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Alexander Novak, stated that Russia’s sales to India have risen 22-fold over the past year.

China will be sailing Ocean Container Ships using Oil while the West will be committed to “Sustainable” Fuel to Power Ships. China wins again.

You can understand a person from fascist subjugated Canada to appreciate what America has become. Misery loves company.

That’s the price of the Russian Ural brand - what Russia has to sell it for. Has nothing to do with world market prices.

Mothers, don’t let your children study chemical or petroleum engineering unless you don’t mind seeing them unemployed.

The first issue of Forbes came out in September of 1917. Ever since, the magazine’s become a trusted publication for ranking companies and celebrities, as well as general popularity. While American-founded, it isn’t American-owned anymore. It was purchased by the Hong King-based Integrated Whale Media Investments in 2014 for $400 million.

Do you have a link for that?

Not trying to be argumentive, just trying to figure out how both pieces of data are arrived at (The $48.80 or so on oilprice.com vs. the $30 you quote.)

IMO the figure that counts most is Russian gov’t revenues — IF their reporting (sharp drop in revenues in 2023, compared to pre-war revenue in early 2022) can be believed.

How do you know what is the contracted price?
Regarding insurance, there are Russian and Chinese insurance companies.

No link p- not my job - just check Russian Eurol brand sales (Rosnef or maybe LukOil) if you can find it; it is no secret that Russia is forced to sell its oil way below market. Many have cited that price - I just do not remember who when where
