NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – At least four people are dead, including the shooter, following an “active shooter” situation at a school in Green Hills.
The Nashville Fire Department said the incident happened at Covenant School located at 33 Burton Hills Boulevard. Metro police reported that officers engaged the shooter, who is dead. A spokesperson with Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt confirmed to News 2’s Kendall Ashman that three children were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds, but have died from their injuries.
Hospital officials also said two adults were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and have died from their injuries.
About the money for guns, etc. There was a good post yesterday that the mom is from an old moneyed family, so the girl’s wealth could be from a trust fund from grandparents.
These videos took my breath away.
Prayers up for the entire community.
Prayers, too, for the parents and other family members of the crazy girl.
It was not their fault.
God have mercy on them all.
Yes, I have read kids and young people with autism are easily recruited into the trans thing, and a disturbingly high percentage of trans are on the autism spectrum.
Also, you often hear how kids or young people actually had other psychological issues that were never addressed, and they were just diagnosed and treated as trans, only to regret it soon enough, and found it made their lives worse, not better.
Audrey’s parents were having her treated for her emotional disorder. It seems young people with difficult and painful issues (autism, emotional disorders, etc.) jump on the trans train because it offers an easier “cure” — just change c!othes, take meds, get a little surgery and you’re all cured.
Only of course you aren’t. You’re still autistic, you still have an emotional disorder, and you’re still either a man or a woman, etc. But it might appear like a magical cure to those with mental/emotional issues.
As for the despicable people blaming her parents for “rejecting” her for being “gay and trans” — the parents knew her issues, and that young people with these issues are easily manipulated into believing they are trans. It seems to me they were doing their very best by her.
Ah. I missed that. That explains a lot. Thank you.
"...just change c!othes, take meds, get a little surgery and you’re all cured convinced you're someone else, for awhile.
Re-read your whole post with that change and, IMHO, it becomes even more on-point and poignant.
Thank you ;^)
I can’t believe it was close to 2 years ago (or has it been 3 already?!) that we made the thread to bring back the kitties... I had the link bookmarked, but when I updated my OS, I made backups of everything BUT the bookmarks. The last one I did was from November, so I lost about half of my FR Watchlist too :P
Anyway, anyone that says that they know FR (from the past 2 decades), but doesn’t understand the FR culture... something is amiss.
Hmm.
I see.
"FR has been infested with a lot of subtle and not-so-subtle trolls - some with sleeper accounts. Who are getting paid or are employed and therefore.....disrupt."
I went back and read his posts, and he is definitely NOT a noob. He mentioned being on FR for 20 years just like another 4 or so names that said pretty much the same thing, that were zotted in the last 1 1/2 years.
Good point. A troubled, unhappy, confused and broken person imagines the “miracles of medicine” can change him or her into a whole and happy and healthy new person — into someone else entirely, someone of the opposite sex even. Only it can’t. You’re still the same troubled, unhappy, confused person you were before, now perhaps with a mutilated body and/or a body trying to deal with unnatural hormones.
A young woman on the autism spectrum who has an emotional disorder, as Audrey reportedly was, is given to believe “what is really going on with you is you are trans, trapped in a body of the wrong sex, and we can fix that”. One can see why these troubled people fall for that. Autism can’t be fixed, and emotional disorders are hard to treat. Besides, trans is the cool “in” thing now, far more socially acceptable than an emotional disorder.
Hat trick
I fear that this is the real driving force behind the transgender nonsense we are seeing.
It used to be that a boy exhibiting feminine mannerisms was teased mercilessly by his peers and even shunned. As well, there were usually parents nipping that behavior in the bud at home.
Sure, there were "sissies" when I went to school, as well as "tomboys", which was much more tolerated but still had its limits. You never heard about any of them wanting to actually change their gender however. Peer pressure and better parenting kept all of this in check.
Now that it has become stylish and the "in thing" to be transgender, everybody is getting on the bandwagon and there is no more stigma in a child announcing he or she (usually a he) wishes to identify with the opposite gender. In, fact, it's very appealing for a socially awkward child as this immediately makes them more popular in school.
Gaining popularity in school is like crack cocaine for schoolchildren, especially children who were never that popular to begin with. They will do ANYTHING to obtain popularity.
It is especially appealing to boys to take this route because there is a lot of pressure on boys to be "tough", to make it in sports, to grow into a man. When they have the option to put on a dress and be fawned over, treated delicately and such, many of them will go that way as all the pressures that boys typically have will be instantly removed.
Then we have attention-starved parents (usually mothers) who actually encourage their little boys to become girls, as it gives them a certain social cachet, in the circles they run in. To them, their little "transgirl" is a cute accessory, a conversation piece, like the pocket dogs they used go around with.
Parents that are willing to mutiliate and emotionally scar their children for life, even rendering them unable to reproduce on their own, are on the same level as pedophiles in my opinion.
Agreed, CH.
Perhaps the trans suicide rate is so high because they sought only to change the shell and then they come to realize the core is still the same.
In my view, peace only comes from within.
You are so right. Peace does come from within.
When this trans stuff first started up years ago, I saw a longitudinal study showing that, of those who considered themselves trans, those with the least intervention had the lowest suicide rate and those with the most intervention had the highest.
The categories included those who simply cross-dressed, those who took hormones, those who had “top surgery”, those who had “top and bottom surgery”. The farther up the ladder of medical intervention one went, the higher the suicide rate. I can’t find it now, of course, but if I do will post it.
Now, it could well be argued that those content with simply cross dressing weren’t as troubled to begin with, and so on, and there’s likely something to that. But it also gives the lie to the claim these drastic interventions prevent suicide.
I did find this:

As a junior high school student, I shorted my lunch daily to leave a dime that went into an aluminum cigar tube. I was saving for a fishing reel that would cost $6.90 including tax. When I reached my goal, I walked to the Sears store to buy it. It was 5 miles one way. I still have that fishing reel today.
Yup, it was Bob J, a particularly nasty piece of unflushed waste.
And he’s always saying the same thing.
Hot tam, I mean.
