NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – At least four people are dead, including the shooter, following an “active shooter” situation at a school in Green Hills.
The Nashville Fire Department said the incident happened at Covenant School located at 33 Burton Hills Boulevard. Metro police reported that officers engaged the shooter, who is dead. A spokesperson with Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt confirmed to News 2’s Kendall Ashman that three children were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds, but have died from their injuries.
Hospital officials also said two adults were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and have died from their injuries.

Former FBI agent has reliable source that she went into church and shot over 100 rounds killing custodian, then went into school.
Chris Swecker just stated the shooter entered through the church, fired dozens if not hundreds of rounds in the church and killed the custodian. (Reliable source but can not give up the source)

Updated to state that the shooter was a former student.
They already are...useless. THE actual fix is to eliminate "gun free zones" in schools and allow CCW of any school staff adult who so wishes. States that allow such have had ZERO mass shootings. See John Lott's analysis of statistics on the subject.

Rather interesting how, after one of these events, an FBI agent (ex- or current) pops up with lots of 'inside information'.
