Former President Donald Trump has not been notified about whether charges will be filed against him by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for his alleged role in facilitating a 2016 hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels, sources told The Post.
Sources also told The Post that it is still possible that Bragg decides not to indict the 76-year-old former president.
Trump could be indicted as early as Wednesday, although he is not expected to appear in court until next week, law enforcement sources told The Post on Tuesday.
According to Fox News, the Manhattan grand jury hearing evidence against the former president has another witness slated to testify on Wednesday.
It is unclear who will be testifying on Wednesday.
If an indictment is brought against Trump, Bragg’s office would call Trump’s lawyers to inform them of the grand jury’s decision, and negotiations would immediately begin for the former president’s surrender.
It is believed that Bragg is considering slapping Trump with charges related to the falsifying of business records, or bookkeeping fraud, over the $130,000 in hush money allegedly paid to Daniels by Trump’s former fixer Michael Cohen to cover up an alleged 2006 affair between the real estate mogul and the porn star.
Trump may also be hit with campaign finance related charges because of the alleged hush money payment.
The former president could face up to four years in prison if convicted of the reported “low-level felony’’ charges Bragg is believed to be considering bringing.

Secondly, as I pointed out earlier, Bragg didn’t appear before Jordan, Comer & Steil last week as they sent him a letter explaining why they believe his appearance is legitimate and extending the date to appear to 3-31. So IF he appeared, why the dog & pony show letter to appear?

Bragg just wanted his 15 minutes of fame. If he wants to indict Trump I hope he is ready for the fallout.
I think the Dems are going to throw him under the bus. I also think he will lose his license “malicious prosecution”. He’ll sue back, get a few million and wallow in satisfaction.
Apparently Jordon, Comer and Stiel had no effect on Bragg based on today’s news.
