Re: Applicants who list pronouns on their resumes:
(As an employer), I'm going to assume that you are going to be the laziest person, the most entitled, the first to sue . . .
Why would anyone want to hire you?
She has a point.

She will be punished.
I recently had some email correspondence from our business bank. And our banker noted her pronouns along with address, business phone, email address, and fax number.
Perhaps pronouns will become common in the business world?
Our banker said her pronouns are she, her, and hers. So apparently not one of these members of the 50 plus gender identities discovered so far.
The truth is verboten and never to be spoken outloud
The Gibberish People ,LOL
The same with renting to a person... none of us need the drama...
In hiring, the most important thing is to avoid toxic employees.
Most people can be trained to do most jobs. Skills matter, and it’s nice if someone walks in the door able to do things. But that can come later, in a pinch.
But hiring a toxic person is a huge mistake. A job interview should be at least 51% aimed at answering the question: “Am I going to regret hiring this personality?”
Their hearts aren't into it but they realize to do otherwise would be to invite lawsuits and HR is all about avoiding lawsuits for the company.
I do not even respond to recruiters with pronouns listed. Of course stupid company leaders will never wonder why they are getting fewer candidates.
Cyndi Lauper song...”Them just want to have fun!”
Recently, there was some nitwit in the office I am at for whom I noticed emails were going out and under her signature she had “She/Her” with a pronoun preference.
At first I thought it strange then when I started reading about what it meant I nearly blew a headgasket, privately.
The idiot thankfully has left the company.
I had zero problems with discriminating when I ran my business. Discrimination is the process to determine if an applicant should be hired. The ability to communicate, technical knowledge and appearance were all important to dealing with customers. The ability to communicate was the easy to discern. It eliminated the vast majority of applicants.
I’m interviewing someone who did subcontractor work for Dominion voting for the Fulton County area in GA. It’s going to be a fun interview next week 😄
“Their hearts aren’t into it but they realize to do otherwise would be to invite lawsuit...”
How does not putting pronouns in their profiles invite lawsuits?
Please, keep us posted!
I work under a subsidiary of Trinity Health. My email signature is prescribed with much specificity, including an option for pronouns. Fortunately it is an option. If it should become mandatory, I will insert “Your Majesty” and “Your Highness” as pronouns and wait to be summoned.
HR wants to openly promote that the company has no issues with them so they can protect company from frivolous civil actions
Too wordy for me. I would settle for "Sir".
The 'stuff' going on in the business world today makes me glad that I am retired.
My pronouns are “He, who must be obeyed” and “His Highness”
