EXCLUSIVE — The U.S. government conditioned a plea agreement with a defendant stipulating they sign a secret form, which was not authorized through Congress and has been slammed as "unconstitutional" by Republican lawmakers, that stripped their rights to buy, own, or use firearms, documents show.
Between 2011 and 2019, the FBI, Secret Service, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement coordinated to obtain signatures on an internal form from at least 60 U.S. citizens that stripped their gun rights, according to newly obtained records and multiple Washington Examiner reports. In at least one instance, the bureau and Secret Service worked behind closed doors with what appears to be a government prosecutor who conditioned signing of the form as part of a legal case, the Washington Examiner has learned.

This is the most basic violation of civil rights.
As I understand it the only way you can relinquish your civil rights is voluntary.
The only instance that I can think of where this happens is when a US citizen naturalizes as a citizen of another country.
The key is it's completely voluntary. You must take an affirmative action to loose your US citizenship and your rights.
In this case the gov is using coercion. Not only that but it has been long established that our right come from God not the gov. I am not sure that a US citizen has the ability to renounce their rights forced or otherwise.
If the gov can forces you to give up your 2nd amendment rights what can't they force you to give up? Voting rights, first amendment, 4th amendment, where would it end. It would render the constitution meaningless.

OTOH, The Justice for J6 rally was a demonstration in Washington, D.C., in support of (now) thousands of people who were arrested and imprisoned The rally occurred on September 18, 2021. The event attracted 100–200 activists.
The event ONLY attracted 100-200 protestors...

Case in point: during the Academy Awards Jimmy Kimmel said "Editing is an amazing process. How else to reduce 40,000 hours of violent insurrection down to twenty minutes of a guided tour?". When the cameras panned the audience of supposedly woke liberal actors it was obvious none found that funny at all - some speaking among themselves with earnestness. If that crowd is questioning the official narrative then the actual working public is ahead of them.
We have to keep in mind that most people are beholden to job and familial responsibilities while Trump is quite unique.
