202 views Mar 16, 2023 #russia #drone #blacksea US military officials have released a dramatic video of the moment a Russian fighter jet collided with a US drone over the Black Sea earlier this week.

The footage shared Thursday morning by the US European Command (EUCOM) was captured by the underside camera of the MQ-9 Reaper drone as one of two Su-27 fighter jets attempted to spray it with jet fuel.

On the second try, the jet collides with the drone’s rear propeller, and the screen pixelates as communication goes down.

An audio clip also purported to capture a Russian salvage team recovering the aircraft’s engine casing.

“We raised part of the object,” one voice says in the recording obtained by East to West.

It’s almost beyond my comprehension to realize that people
who think they are a Conservatives and have been on this
forum as long as you have, would use an argument like that
when there are clearly parallels between two historical
events.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

I did not compare you to Hitler or the NAZIs in the first place. I compared this situation to the start of WWII.
That’s a legitimate comparison to make.

Russian leaders have talked about Moldova, Poland, Latvia,
Estonia, Finland, and Sweden, and these nations being either
in need of being addressed next, or not being a legitimate
nation to begin with. The last time Russian leaders talked
about a nation in these terms, it was the Ukraine.

Go study Godwin’s Law until you grasp it.

How many Russians will satisfy your boy, Putin? Ukraine is obviously fighting like a large wolverine.

Keep it up and the minute credibility of the Russian military will erode even further. The Summer offensive is going to surprise you and your Russian fodder.

And Ukie are not wolverines. They are rather pigs. But Russians are bears. Bears will break pigs.

You're repeating LIES.

https://sonar21.com/can-we-stop-playing-make-believe-where-are-the-adults-when-it-comes-to-ukraine/

Russia, from its perspective, is defending its homeland. As I mentioned in my previous piece, how would we react if Russian drones were flying along the Mexican/U.S. border collecting intelligence on the deployment of U.S. border forces and passing that information to the Mexican drug cartels, who in turn would use that information to flood the weak points of our border with illegal migrants? Americans would be rightly outraged. So why do we think we can do what we are doing and expect the Russians to roll over like a beaten dog and do nothing?

That is the reason for the title of this article. We need some adults in Washington, D.C. to quiet all of the belligerent threats and work on defusing this confrontation with Russia. If we do not, this will end badly for the United States.

Did we respect Syria, Libya, Iraq or Serbia's borders?

And, when we're not invading, and for far less valid reasons than Russians have gone into Ukraine, we're trying to foment more revolutions in countries like Georgia and Hungary.

The war in Ukraine is completely the result of our meddling in the country going back to 2014. We setoff a civil war by fomenting in an illegal coup. We trained, funded and enabled Ukrainian nationalists and neo-Nazis to persecute and kill the ethnic Russian population and to cutoff Russian from a naval base in had in Crimea since 1783. We armed Ukraine with offensive weapons and teased NATO membership for it. We we were running biolabs with deadly pathogens in them in Ukraine. We encouraged Ukraine not to honor the Minsk Accords that it signed that would have brought peace to Ukraine and kept Lugansk and Donetsk part of the country.

In short, we did everything we could to make this proxy war happen.

Why do you Putin puffers keep bringing up Mexico and Canada in your scary stories when Russia HAS an ally near the USA: Cuba.

Where is Russia in Cuba? If they want to threaten us then that’s the place to go.

So why aren’t they in Cuba?

I'm not threatening your life by moving in next door and arming myself with weapons pointed at your home that could kill you while running a meth lab that could explode and set your home on fire.

Your analogy is embarrassing.

If Russia or China were doing in Mexico what we've done in Ukraine, WE INVADE. AND, I WOULD SUPPORT US DOING SO.

We didn't tolerate Soviet missiles in Cuba and the way we have armed Ukraine is just as big a threat to Russia.

Russia HAS CONSISTENTLY sought peace -- asking for the Minsk Agreement be implemented, by coming to us with their security concerns in December of 2021 and by trying to negotiate peace in Turkey in March of last year. At EVERY TURN, WE WERE THE THE ONES THAT KILLED ANY PEACE DEAL.

In the 1960s, I came across a small training manual distributed by the Communist Party that showed how a small group of people – as few as four – could dominate a much larger group and sway the outcome of any action taken by that group.

That describes the "liberal world order" that you're supporting in the proxy war with Russia.

We're closer to communism with the Biden regime in charge than Russia. Russia has a 13% flat tax rate and is passing laws outlawing the LGBT agenda being forced on its citizens. It's banned George Soros and those like him from their land.

You're disgrace to memory of Ronald Reagan. You're siding the WEF crowd, Soros himself and globalists whose agenda always puts American citizens last.

Sorry to get back to you so late. Long day yesterday getting ready for a relative’s visit.

Anyway…

The seeming slow rotation of the prop is due to stroboscopic effect. It is an optical illusion created when the rotation speed of the prop is an even (or nearly even) multiple of the frame rate of the video camera. If it is an exact match, the prop seems to stand still. If it (the synchronization) is slightly off, the prop appears to be rotating very slowly. Pull up some YouTube videos of C-130, etc. on the ground with engines running and props turning, and you’ll see the effect.

The best ones are the big turboprop aircraft with counter-rotating propellers like the Airbus A-400, or my favorite, the Tupolev Tu-95 Bear. Then you get to see eight propellers come into and out of sync with the video camera as engine speed is throttled up and down.
