You can tell Tucker Carlson is over the target based simply on the hysterical reactions he’s gotten over the last 24 hours. That’s the story after the Fox News host began to release January 6th surveillance footage on Monday evening.
Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy gave Carlson access to the footage after Democrats fought for years to keep it under lock and key. Now, we are finding out that many of the narratives spun by the January 6th committee and others were at best misleading and at worst outright false.
RedState has already reported on that extensively on those revelations (click here, here, and here), and apparently, Democrats aren’t a fan of the transparency. After railing on the Senate floor, Chuck Schumer went to the press to demand that Carlson be forcibly removed from the air.
Schumer: "Rupert Murdoch has a special obligation to stop Tucker Carlson from going on tonight [and] from letting him go on again and again and again [because] our democracy depends on it." pic.twitter.com/uld6eaCl3C

For starters, it seems rather fascist (or communistic, if you prefer) to have a politician making that kind of demand. A special obligation? Really? Because Carlson released some surveillance footage that Schumer desperately wanted to hide?
It’s an insane and totalitarian position to take. It’s also incredibly hypocritical given Democrats spend every waking moment decrying the coming end of “democracy.” Do you know what ends democracy? Politicians trying to get television hosts kicked off the air for saying stuff they don’t like.
Ask yourself this. What are Schumer and his cohorts so afraid of? Carlson is simply releasing footage that they themselves refused to release. Nancy Pelosi could have let the public see all of it from the get-go. No one made the January 6th committee selectively edit and obfuscate the truth. They chose to do that because they wanted to push a very specific narrative, and they chose to cover up any inconvenient facts for posterity.
That’s what this comes down to. Schumer is afraid of the truth. He’s afraid that his neatly packaged “insurrection” narrative will be blown up by reality, a reality that he fought so hard to hide.
Precisely !
“The swamp and RINOS got to FOX.”
I hate to say “I told you so”, but I told you so. (Not you, Rose, personally.) I’ve been saying that Ryan and the Murdochs will not allow it. The fact that he exposed something last night shocked me.
I watched lfsFb tonight and they were keeping an eye on Tucker. On said, “It looks like Fox has shut him down.”. Maybe that’s true.
When McCarthy gave the tapes to Tucker he was confident that his fellow “Young Gun”, Ryan, would quash it.
“You’re praising McConnell and company “
Why are you TROLLING here? Are you paid to do that?
Great, great post.
I heard just one audio of his speech to a group and was really impressed. Well read, sense of humor and articulate.
A bad loss for us all.
Everybody watch your six.
This is “civil war even if only one side has been doing all the firing.”— Michael Savage, 2015.
Hopefully Tucker is doing what James O’Keefe is famous for. First release some damning evidence of corruption. Then wait for the “debunking” narrative to form from the perps. Then release more damning evidence that destroys the “debunking” narrative completely.
We will see if he does but Carlson doesn’t strike me as dumb or soft.
And when it comes to preserving freedom, “progressive” is actually REGRESSIVE!
Truth is like battery acid to them.
That pesky First Amendment is despised by the left.
I nominate Chuckie Puker as the most despicable person in the world? Any seconds?
I 2nd the nomination.
BOMBS AWAY!!!
Guess you didn’t watch tucker tonight, he had clips, and Interview with capital police officer..

I suspect Monday’s episode will be about all we will see of any actual new and revealing video. The left has already dismissed Monday’s revealed info as “doctored” and dis-information. Tonight’s episode just seemed to be interviews with those who have been preaching to the choir for two years. Julie Kelly can easily be ignored just like she has been ever since January 6th.
Carlson doesn’t mind rocking the boat a bit. However, just because he is Fox’s main attraction doesn’t mean Paul Ryan is going to allow Carlson to destroy his ability to rub shoulders with the cocktail reception circuit.
I suspect Ryan makes more money keeping the “powers that be” happy than he does at Fox news. He was installed there for a reason. Controlled opposition. His job is to keep the right entertained and hopeful that they are going to at last chalk up a win, and it prevents them from getting too feisty.
I’ll be happy to discover I’m wrong, but will be surprised to see anything very surprising or earth-shattering on the remainder of this week’s Carlson episodes.
The Kangaroo Kourt has been exposed for exactly who they are. This was their version of justice.
Tucker owns the Daily Caller. If he thinks he can’t show something important at Fox, he could show it.
The vile Dems and Schumer are trying to intimidate the Murdoch owners to shut down Tucker Carlson on his January 6th videos.
Schumer —— We can get you (Murdochs) six ways from Sunday. (Paraphrased)
Exactly right.
He played some jan 6 capitol videos. Not sure if they are new.
