Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Monday said he was prepared to introduce legislation to “set the stage” for U.S. military force in Mexico, saying it was time to “get tough” on the neighboring country after four Americans were kidnapped by armed men this week.
Graham told Fox News host Jesse Watters that he would follow the advice of former President Trump on Mexico policy.
“I would put Mexico on notice,” Graham said. “If you continue to give safe haven to drug dealers, then you are an enemy of the United States.”
Graham added he would “introduce legislation to make certain Mexican drug cartels foreign terrorist organizations under U.S. law and set the stage to use military force if necessary.”
“I would tell the Mexican government if you don’t clean up your act, we’re going to clean it up for you,” the senator said.

The current generation of cartel leaders are much more violent than their fathers. This should have been stopped a long time ago, but both parties are at fault for the situation we are in now.
1. They killed Americans
2. They are terrorists
3. Declare them terrorists...
4. Get Mexico permission...and yes, they will give it
5. Let the drones fly
Terror group tht killed Americans and kill many more Mexicans every single day are degraded, just like we have done to other terror groups and cartels.
Mexico sovereignty is upheld w their permission.
Criminal enterprises are degraded.
Maybe Graham should press for legislation authorizing military action everywhere, or perhaps just provide a blank in the legislation where the country name should go.
.........these “cartels” have clearly intimidated the Arizona Judiciary and the U.S. Federal Judiciary too..........
El Salvador has the solution. It built a huge prison, throws em all in it and tells them something like.......”this is where you go to die...you will never get out alive”.........

Grahame is grandstanding because four of his consituents just went into Mexico with very negative results.
Instead of a military attack, maybe we should stop keeping it a secret from all but the most intelligent Americans, that Mexico is a dangerous, failed, narco-state unsafe to ramble around in. Oh, you mean everyone aready knows that except those four, of which 2 are already dead, and the others iffy?
Were those four people from SC?

Step one should be to secure the border, for real this time. The cartels are funded by American dollars. Cut the traffic across the border and the money stops. Deal ruthlessly with drug trafficking on our side of the border and the money stops. Stop the money and you break the hold the cartels have over the Mexican institutions.
Originally I had seen that they are were from South Carolina. Now various internet news sources say 4 Americans, 3 of whom were from SC.
and the real reason is, Mexico said they are interested in joining Brics.
I predicted this to my cousin a week ago, because she wants to go to Cancun. Before the kidnapping.
I said stay out, we are about to invade Mexico.
That is an excellent point, and one I missed entirely. I think you are right.
