Is “democracy” great or what?

The Deep State just steps in from time to time—nothing to see here...

;-)

I don’t know what the true situation is but it would not be unusual for a person who had voluntarily undergone commitment for clinical depression to be competent to review and sign legislation. If it was a psychotic depression, no.

The left reaches a new level of corruption with each passing day. No one is holding them accountable, so why not?

They changed the outcome of the election. They help dead people to vote. Putting someone in the office of a non-functioning individual?
Of course they would.

John can still say ‘yes’ when depressed (or pressed).

Congressional newbies, particularly incompetent freaks like Fetterman, have advisors and legislative aides “recommended” by party grandees and House/Senate leaders. These apparatchiks are party loyalists who will push the politics of the leadership and make sure the new Senator is integrated into the party apparatus.

Its one way the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer wield power and shape debate in DC

I have no doubt Fetterman’s office is “functioning” just fine with woke/leftist policies decided by Chuck Schumer and Dick Durban

Fetterman will continue to cast votes in the Senate whether he is present in the chamber or not. Hell, he could be dead and still be voting (that's the Dem way, is it not?)

We here at FR cry out for justice, but the Deep State does what it wants to do and no one can stop it.

They couldn’t do this without the approval of his illegal alien wife. She is in on it.

“Someone the people of Pennsylvania didn’t elect is acting in Fetterman’s capacity.”

That was true even before Fetterman checked into the mental hospital.

Fetterman has been a puppet from day one it’s just more obvious now that’s he hospitalized for depression.

He can co-sponsor legislation, but he can’t vote in committee or on the floor. It’s a dirty not so secret that staff do most of the work of drafting legislation.

I suspect his wife is taking care of business behind the scenes and has been doing so even before the election.

She likely thinks she gets the position if hubby is unable to do the job.

I thought the Senate had to both have a quorum and the member be present to vote? Don't I remember Sen. Byrd being wheeled in a wheelchair to vote?

Or has "Science! COVID!" negated everything these days?

Edith Wilson came in and out of a closed off room when Woodrow Wilson suffered a severe stroke. She “made the decisions on which matters o communicate to her husband” and told staff members what to do about bills under consideration in Congress and policy matters.
According to whitehouse.gov “she pre-screened all matters of state, functionally running the Executive branch of government for the remainder of Wilson’s second term.”
