Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Monday claimed American taxpayers have a “moral duty” to defend Ukraine’s eastern border from invasion by giving aid to the nation.
In a New York Times op-ed published while the secretary visited the nation, Yellen said the American support “is motivated, first and foremost, by a moral duty to come to the aid of a people under attack.”
American lawmakers have so far earmarked more than $110 billion of taxpayer funds to defend the border against a Russian invasion.

I am disappointed in the Breitbart hyperbole.
It’s deceptive and dishonest.
And while I agree with their sentiment and policy 100%, this sh!t diminishes them.
Yellen never once used the word “border” or mentioned Ukraine’s border.

We could have built a wall 100 feet high with the money Biden has sent to Ukraine.
I did try to protect Ukraine’s border from Russia. I voted for President Trump. Unlike every leftist out there, I knew Russia would invade if Biden became president.

If the Senate approved a treaty (which they never did, you lie)to protect Ukraine should they be attacked, then we must go to war with Russia because they have most definitely attacked Ukraine. Wonder why we haven’t?

A moral obligation to protect the people of Ukraine?
The corrupt and murderous Kiev government was shelling its own Ukrainian people in the Donbas and killing them by the thousands since 2014. Their crime was their desire for autonomy to escape the Kiev tyrants.
It is Russia who came to the assistance of Ukrainian civilians in the Donbas region by stopping the killing of ethnic Russians there.
Those people do not consider themselves conquered or invaded. They have been LIBERATED. They are not now being mercilessly slaughtered on orders from Kiev.
In deed.
The US has no duty, no obligation to defend Ukraine. The Ukraine is in Europe. It is Europe’s duty and responsibility to defend Ukraine. They won’t simply because they know the US will. If we wouldn’t, they would!!
No, we don’t.
Unfortunatly many people don’t want to see those facts.
