Jimmy Carter receiving hospice care, Carter Center says

Former President Jimmy Carter is receiving hospice care at his home, the Carter Center announced Saturday. He made the decision after a series of short hospital stays, the center said in a statement.

Darn - sorry to hear that. As I wrote to someone else - too many loved ones have been leaving us. Did the Yervoy or Keytruda come from Israel, do you know? Never did know if it was true. I think it was Carter who said his treatment came from there.

NOW that’s a long life. If you’re not sure what hospice care did for her, you’re probably better off. I’m not one to give praise for it OR RECOMMEND IT. My husband was on hospice at home, then went in the hospital, then in a nursing home with a different hospice - not a dime’s worth of difference. Once a week visit from a hospice nurse and another one once a week to bathe him. He had better care in the hospital with NO DRUGGING!!! Found out how prevalent that feeling was from friends/family after he passed away 2 years ago and I had to wonder WHY they never voiced their displeasure/dislike before. Worst decision I made.

The HELL he was! He was the FIRST ex-POTUS to speak ill of the USA from beyond our shores. He intervened in US Foreign Affairs and did an imitation of hanoi jane only this time for N. Korea instead of Vietnam.

He was a helpful face for our enemies who they trotted out on a regular basis with great fanfare and glee. He just cared about the fanfare.

Too bad his grave will be protected else I and all right-thinking Americans will piss on it regularly.

I hope his death is slow, painful and completely cogent.

He SHOULD have just stayed with H4H - that was a worthy cause but he was too prideful and stupid to do that.
