NOW that’s a long life. If you’re not sure what hospice care did for her, you’re probably better off. I’m not one to give praise for it OR RECOMMEND IT. My husband was on hospice at home, then went in the hospital, then in a nursing home with a different hospice - not a dime’s worth of difference. Once a week visit from a hospice nurse and another one once a week to bathe him. He had better care in the hospital with NO DRUGGING!!! Found out how prevalent that feeling was from friends/family after he passed away 2 years ago and I had to wonder WHY they never voiced their displeasure/dislike before. Worst decision I made.
