Saw the hearing and the CDC Director just kept saying how the vaccines saved lived. When questioned by Republicans she was nervous with no clear answers.

The irony of the matter is that people who vote Democrat will be the ones most likely to have their kids get additional shots, with the resultant negative consequences.
I think that’s right, that being on the regular schedule of childhood vaccines will protect them from all liability, even after the emergency use authorization immunity expires (assuming it ever does)...

I think maybe the current eua is expiring and now they either have to add that legal entity to the list, or formally approve it as a brand name product like they did with comirnaty. So a third bnt162b2 product would appear like “comirnityplus” - the same but legally different. I’m not a lawyer.
Thanks. I’m not 100% positive either, but I think once they get the Emergency Use Authorization, they are covered for four years. But to get the EUA, there can’t be any approved therapeutics, which is why they wouldn’t approve any prior to the EUA.

Thanks I believe research chemical bnt162b2 came into existence here in the US as biontech under eua with that liability blanket of security, and was forced into a legal split for billing and protection purposes over in Europe to be dispensed as comirnity (who knows if the “labeling issues” have been fixed here yet.) I watched a short clip of CDC Dir. Walensky at a congressional hearing. She said covid vaccines were added to the childhood immunization list so poor parents can get free shots for their kids. They can’t get free covid jabs unless it is on the list.
Interesting timing.
