I think maybe the current eua is expiring and now they either have to add that legal entity to the list, or formally approve it as a brand name product like they did with comirnaty. So a third bnt162b2 product would appear like “comirnityplus” - the same but legally different. I’m not a lawyer.
Thanks. I’m not 100% positive either, but I think once they get the Emergency Use Authorization, they are covered for four years. But to get the EUA, there can’t be any approved therapeutics, which is why they wouldn’t approve any prior to the EUA.
