Former President Donald Trump, who ripped through the 2016 presidential field with attacks on his rivals, reposted images of a young Ron DeSantis allegedly partying with high school teens and adding his own mocking commentary.
'That's not Ron, is it? He would never do such a thing!' Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
The post linked to a Truth Social Account that grabbed a digital image of a young man with a bowl haircut who appears to be DeSantis surrounded by three young women.
One of them, who has her arm around the now-Florida governor, is smiling and appears to be holding a brown glass bottle. The hit comes as DeSantis has been rising in the polls and lining up influential supporters.

For sure, if this is a “thing”, it’s better to get it out of the way early. Ron needs to have an answer. But, for goodness sakes man, Ron isn’t even RUNNING yet! At least, wait until he makes a decision.

It may indeed be nothing more than gratuitous sliming. But that’s the way Trump fights. And it’s very effective. And if he didn’t use that same fighting mentality to fight for the American people, I’d be more critical of it. But he does. I’ve never seen a President fight to keep his promises more than Trump.
So if he plays rough in order to get there, so be it. Politics is a full contact sport. And Trump’s tactics are designed more to get under his opponents’ skin than anything else. It’s about making his opponents uneasy, like the athlete who talks trash during the game to get into his opponent’s head.
