* rump commented on 2021 story with pictures of DeSantis in his 20s *'Whistleblower' story claimed he was pictured with high school seniors *Trump commented on it, writing: 'That's not Ron, is it?'
Former President Donald Trump, who ripped through the 2016 presidential field with attacks on his rivals, reposted images of a young Ron DeSantis allegedly partying with high school teens and adding his own mocking commentary.
'That's not Ron, is it? He would never do such a thing!' Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
The post linked to a Truth Social Account that grabbed a digital image of a young man with a bowl haircut who appears to be DeSantis surrounded by three young women.
One of them, who has her arm around the now-Florida governor, is smiling and appears to be holding a brown glass bottle. The hit comes as DeSantis has been rising in the polls and lining up influential supporters.

Not sure how this helps Trump. His record was his strength, run on it.
Actually the Freedom Caucus joined all of the Democrats to vote against the bill.
So name dropping yeas and nays doesn't really work. One needs to look at the specifics of the bill.
Trump can't attack DeSantis on actual conservative issues like Trump's support of LGBT gay marriage, so he's trying the normal Democratic strategy of accusing others of what you're more guilty of.
He's tried blaming DeSantis for lockdowns, vaccines, being sanctimonious, and now being associated with underage girls.
These are all acts of desperation, as they are known as "boomerang" attacks that usually only work in the short term, before they come back and hit the accuser twice as hard. But we are far away from DeSantis even declaring his intent for running for President, so only Trump will suffer the most damage from them.
“get your facts straight!”
YOU can’t read! I gave you the bill #..

I’m on my death bed and you’re the dumbass who can’t read.
GO TO HELL you traitor! I don’t want an apology, because you aren’t capable of it.
The sniping is one way.
What if he partied with seniors back when he was just a couple years older than those seniors? BFD.
Don’t lecture me! The stupid ass voted against the dam bill!
GROW iup people. YOU are destroying this country! NOT the democrats.
YOU
” Trump was certainly guilty of infidelities in the past, but at least he never denied it. “
He denied all of them.
“Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein were close friends for twenty years.”
No, Trump and Epstein knew each other for twenty years. Trump hob-knobbed with a lot of influential people during his years as a developer. Goes with the territory. I have yet to see evidence that they were close.
Trump has about a zero chance of winning. Our election system is completely compromised. The only way that I see him getting in is if we are entering WWIII and they need a cheerleader to mobilize the country to fight. Even then it’s unlikely. No, I want Trump because he will drive the democrats crazy and there’s a chance that this time we will not let another election be stolen.
If....and I say ‘if’...this is true, I’m finished with him
Marla Maples? I don’t think so. He married her and divorced Ivana over her.
Oh, put a fork in it.
Almost half the House Republicans voted against that crappy bill that, among other things, gave amnesty to "Dreamers."
When it came time to actually FUND the wall (and not a bunch of other crap that was stuffed into it), DeSantis would vote YES.
DeSantis, it should be mentioned, a year earlier attached a rider to a spending bill to strip funding for the Mueller investigation.
I think Trump’s behavior right now is terrible, but I can’t believe so many here are attacking his Presidency, especially with all of the crap he was put through. He did a great job.
Agreed. Lecherous loser Trump should be ashamed.
Didn't mean to lecture you AuntB, I was lecturing somebody else.
There were good and bad people on both sides voting Yea and Nay. It was similar to the McCarthy Speaker battle that we just had.
I stand by my post.
Yes. DeSantis voted against it.
so did Gaetz (FL), Barletta (PA), King (IA) and many other immigration restrictionists
ETA: Gaetz official statement on why he voted NO on HR 6136
quote:
Not only did this legislation provide a pathway to citizenship for millions who are in our country illegally, it allows them to sponsor their family members—many of whom were responsible for illegally bringing them into the country in the first place. This is unfair to the millions of people waiting in line and following the proper legal procedures for green cards and, eventually, citizenship.
Though I admired the emphasis on border security found in the Border Security and Immigration Reform Act of 2018, the fact remains that this bill did little to address the causes of our broken immigration system: it does not require the implementation of E-Verify, does not end chain-migration, and does nothing to address the crisis of dangerous and lawless ‘sanctuary cities.’
____________________________________________________________ If Gov. Santis has made what looks like an error in a vote, please research why before posting. Don't both Trump and DeSantis deserve honest information and not dishonest spin? Shouldn't we be gathering reliable information for each other so that we can be responsible conservatives and not just candidate-zealots?
Yep. I don’t think Trump wants to go here with this type of argument. He will lose on the appearance.
But the good news is this will get it out of the way before the primary.
Please look at the photo of the incident in the Dail Mail.
A girl has her arm around Ron’s shoulder in a friendly gesture.
Two other girls are standing there smiling. One is holding a brown bottle.
It was a POST- graduation party, and the girls were no longer his students.
They were over 18 years old. Not a one has come forward to say that anything inappropriate happened.
Ron was about 22.
When I was a girl, 18 was the age of majority.. I attended many a party, suitably chaperoned, with young men in their twenties. Liquor was served, as 18 was the drinking age.
So...What is the Big Fat Deal?
