I believe this is video is dated. But these were still his own words. I thought it might be of some interest here.
https://youtu.be/gZIwjOTaQ_Y
You clearly misquoted him.
If you listen to the actual video, and his actual statement, he simply says the sea levels are rising, and flooding is increasing. He says some say that is due to humans, some say it’s not, and he doesn’t really know the answer to that but you’d be a fool to not to consider it (rising sea levels and flooding) as an issue we need to address.
Go to 1:15 to see for yourself. Oh I know you won’t look, I mean others, of course.
Exactly the right answer, as was DeSantis response, as both set the state for the right discussion: the role of mankind’s activity in climate change. Which has never been proven and never will be, but stupid Republicans and many conservatives have been suckered into arguing the wrong point.
Wrong. Take it up with the author if you have a beef.
“Still don’t completely trust this guy.”
Ick. No kidding
Why won’t he support Trump.
What’s the deal
You are so right about the beachfront mansions.
Red tide, the Glades, and conservation are big issues in Florida. Part of DeSantis trouncing Charlie Crist here was his stance on the environment.
We will vote Trump in the primaries.
If Trump runs 3rd party, we will vote for him in the general.
If Trump endorses DeSantis, I will vote for Ron...
The writer is an Always Trumper cultist. I don’t trust what he has to say.
No, the question is whether it MATTERS.
Stop following all commie dem premises, including the premise that any change they claim is of any real importance.
Conservatives need to stop ceding premises to these traitors.
Then watch the video of DeSantis speaking. Hello?
LOL!
You're seriously going to hide behind this clown?
-> Dong-Chan Lee @Magnanimous
You should be embarrassed for even posting such tripe as a new full thread.
He says he doesn’t know if the rise is natural or not, which is more nuanced than I assumed before watching this 2018 video.
Because common sense is an uncommon virtue.
He’s the establishments guy, that should give you all the reason you need to be dubious of him.
old regurgitated news...
it states “4 years ago” under the video...
I did not consider this, but agreed!
drivel
I thought the problem in the Everglades was that they were diverting water to either coast rather than letting it go through Everglades?
A lot of us here don't support Trump anymore.
From DeSantis perspective, it could be a number of things, from..
believing Trump pressured him on the lockdowns,
lied to him about the vaccines,
has been throwing huge parties celebrating gay marriage at his resorts,
and attacking DeSantis as quote unappreciative, gutless, and DeSanctimonius while DeSantis was on the eve of his election for Governor.
Yep, those things probably have something to do with it.
I’ve said this before…there is a huge difference between seeing that the climate changes…and thinking that man can grossly impact it.
If the seas were rising that quickly, we should be building dykes along the shore lands. Our coasts would look like Holland. Clearly, they don’t.
